Increasingly unreliable
I've been a Nurx customer for several years. The service used to be pretty good, but in the past year it has completely gone downhill. As other reviewers are saying, long delays and mistakes are constant. Sending messages to customer support can feel like screaming into the void. I'd been having my prescriptions sent to a local pharmacy because Nurx's mail pharmacy is out of network and not covered by my insurance. The last few times I've needed to refill my birth control, it's been a fiasco trying to get them to send it (1) to the correct pharmacy, and (2) on time. I was unable to get my most recent refill until days after finishing the previous pack. That was the last straw. I canceled my subscription with them. My guess is that the quality of service has deteriorated because they're understaffed. For months now, they've invariably added some boilerplate "unusually high volume" explanation to every delayed response. But guess what? If the volume of messages is "unusually high" for months on end, then it's NOT "unusual." This is their new normal and they either can't or won't hire an adequate number of employees to process it all. I am usually the last person to complain about customer service. I have never before felt the need to go online and write a negative review of any business. In this case, however, the unreliable service is downright dangerous. Nurx can no longer be trusted with important prescriptions.
