NurxReviews of nurx.com

Once you give them your credit card, you can never remove it from your account. They have it forever. I received a poorly written, condescending email with no solution in response, making me think this is a Chinese scam of a company.

Beyond poor customer service, sometimes will not respond to messages, takes awhile for responses, responses don’t seem genuine, like they are generated by a computer(I don’t know if they are, it’s just the way they come across) they don’t seem to know what is going on. Have had them tell me twice in the 5 months I’ve been using them that the issue was with something my insurance did, the first time they said they couldn’t fill my script was because I had an open script out already by another pharmacy, called my insurance and my insurance said that the open script was from the pharmacy Nurx was using so it seems like they wrote the script then forgot they wrote it , got confused and cancelled my order. Now they are telling me that they can’t send me my order because my insurance has placed me on the insurances pharmacy, called my insurance, insurance said I was not on their pharmacy and that the Nurx team had put my refill in too early and that’s why it was declined by insurance. I messaged nurx that the issue was with them placing the order too early and I was not on my insurances pharmacy, they sent back the same exact message telling me I was on my insurances pharmacy. I’m tired of them telling me one thing and when I check with my insurance it doesn’t add up and I’m also beyond tired of having to wait hours or even days for a message back with some response that doesn’t even makes sense and just doubles down on the initial problem I already looked into.

I wait and wait for the renewal of my prescription. I was charged 2 separate fees, no one could explain why. I'm a travel tech and need to fill my prescription at a local pharmacy but because my main home base is in a different state, they said I'd need to fill it in my home state pharmacy and transfer to where I'm at. Utter nonsense. I use online doctor services for other things. Never an issue. I verified my identity. I still don't have the updated treatment plan anyway, so no prescription. It's been 5 days and getting the run around. Waste of my time and charges that don't make sense. I work in Healthcare by the way. Dermatopathology currently. I just need a new prescription and a way to fill it. Guess I'll file a dispute for the consultation charge ( hasn't happened) and the mysterious extra $20 charge. I'll take my very costly skin issue to someone who actually cares.

This is a SCAM, DO NOT USE NURX. 1. You pay for a prescription of 30$. What they don't tell you is whatever length that prescription is, to get access to it you will need to pay them every month 3$. Thus on one year prescription it is 36$ on top of the prescription you cannot get reimbursed for, much more expensive than anywhere else. 2. Their website say you can cancel anytime by going on the app and opting out. THIS IS A LIE. You cannot cancel yourself. You need to ask them to cancel for you. Their team can take multiple days just to answer. Even though I have now everything cancelled or paused, I still get charged 3$. 3. I ask them to remove my card details, they ignored all my messages, you cannot erase any of your info. Once they get your card details, they will keep it and charge it. 4. Their customer support is useless. Whatever you ask them, you will be lucky if they read your message. They copy and paste a general answer that won't answer any of your questions. Then you need to ask again, hoping you will get an answer. 5. My provider has been unable to confirm the identity of the person that made the prescription. Thus there is a high probability that the people making prescription are not actually doctors. 6. I have asked to get access to the prescription as it is not possible to get access to it yourself (the app does not work and won't let you see any pdf). I got ignored of course, even though I paid 30$ for that prescription. TLDR: do not use and do not give your card details!!

Nurx has absolutely changed in the last few years. Their "rules" are inconsistent as is their communication. They're happy to message about extra hidden fees as soon as they can get their hands on another charge you didn't agree to but if there's a problem with your prescription that might mean they don't make as much money off you, forget it. I had to message multiple times to even find out what my holdup was and when I asked multiple times why I wasn't informed and why that rule has changed since the last prescription I was ignored entirely. I cannot delete my profile or remove my card from their files because they need an extra $3 every 2 months that I never agreed to for a service I can't use since they have no idea how to properly communicate. It's supposedly a fee to process my prescription that's at a local pharmacy with refills so I'm being charged every 2 months to refill a prescription that has to be filled locally and that I have to pick up? Wild. Oh and I can ask them questions any time, but why would I do that when I can't get a courtesy message to let me know my pills were held up in the first place? That's not trustworthy at all. I have zero faith in this company whose interest lies on cranking out pills with little oversight other than making money. All the focus on getting pills to women easily is out the window now. Absolutely try another service first and use this one as a last resort and just be aware that you'll be responsible for fees you never agreed to.

Hidden charges. Dishonest company. I used Nurx before for birth control pills. They charged a fee and sent one RX to my pharmacy which included refills for one year. I renewed my RX this year and they stated that they now charge a $3 fee for support and to process/ send your RX to the pharmacy. I agreed. Thinking it's a one- time processing fee like before. Yet every two months they are charging this fee to my credit card because they are sending my RX to the pharmacy every 60 days (instead of once a year like before). I went back to read the agreement and NOWHERE does it say they will be processing your RX refill every month or two. The yearly cost for this birth control is now way higher than other companies I could have gone with. Dishonest company. Stay away!!!!!

They have the system set up to default to automatic refills but don’t emphasize this information, It turned out I didn’t have the condition that I got the medication for. I was very surprised when my account was charged another $75 and I was sent more useless medicine. I am very sick and unable to work at this time, so it’s a hit. When I tried to turn off the automatic refill option, I discovered they don’t allow you to do this. You have to message them and wait for them to get back to you in order to even attempt to stop this from continuing to happen,

I used them for birth control pills. I came to them when ThePillClub shut down, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. I finally got my prescription, but I don't see myself using them again. The medical practitioner was argumentative and didn't bother to read my consultation survey, which led to several days worth of additional back and forth messaging. They're extremely slow to respond to messages. Their computer system doesn't seem to work very well- first I got a notification that my refill was processing, then another one that I had to get a new prescription (with a new consultation fee). When I asked why, I was told my previous Rx had no refills left. This despite having several months left and a refill still available according to the Rx label on my pill packs. The new consultation took almost a week, mostly waiting hours or days for the medical professional to respond between each message. Finally, after almost 72 hours with no response, I got yet another message saying I needed to submit a new renewal request. I messaged again to find out what was going on. I never got an answer to that message, but finally got the notification that my prescription was processing. Avoid this company if you have any other option!
