I came to NU as an adult in my 40s. I hadn’t been in school in decades. NU program structure and support are invaluable to the adult learner. As adults we have hectic schedules and NU knows it. The professors are professional and demanding in a fair and equitable manner. The education I received at NU was superior. I have created a successful online tutoring business in large part due to my experiences at NU.

At the age of 47 I decided to get my Bachelor Degree. I always wanted to be a teacher. I began this journey in February 2018 and graduated in the Fall of 2019. Now I am in the middle of my Master’s program, I will be 50 next week! At one point I almost gave up. I was talking to a teacher about being 48 when I finished my undergrad degree and was wondering if it was worth it. He said something that I now share with anyone questioning their decision to go back to school. “Amy you are turning 48 no matter what, will you be 48 doing something you love or just turning 48?” National has been a great place to earn my degrees. I love the one course a month set up! I never imagined I would have a Bachelors and now a Masters!!! Thanks NU

The online 4-week format of courses allowed me the opportunity for me to finish my degree while working full-time and raising a family. I found the course content to be relevant and valuable, and I was able to immediately use the knowledge in my current position. I feel confident with my degree that I will continue to progress in my career. Anyone interested in earning a degree should seriously consider National University.

Educational Administration courses were taught by highly qualified instructors with current experience. Units of study were pertinent and timely to today’s educational working environment as well as towards the future of education. Class pacing and assignments were manageable while working full time. Excellent instructor support for field study and research components of the program.

I took CALTPA classes and the professors gave me 10/10 and then when I summited it I did not pass it. Then NU assigned me a professor ( Mr Marrone) He takes weeks and sometimes months to responds my emails. I am tired, I cannot deal with this situation any more. I need someone that can HELP ME to finish it, This is a joke and a lack of respect . PLEASE I NEED SOMEONE CONTACT ME AND HELP ME !!!!!!! 858 353 4377

I started going back to school in 2018, I was really worried that going to school while I was active duty I would have a lot of schedule conflicts and I did. One of the biggest benefits of the four week model, was that if I was going to have a busy month next month I could take a class this month and skip that month and come back, I never did that instead of occasions I would try and take two classes on light months at work and and grind for a month. Most of the professors were very reasonable to work with I was sent to Spain in the middle of microbiology and they allowed me to come back and complete all my work after the course was over. A lot of them were also a professors at other universities like SDSU or UCSD and those professors gave us the same homework that they gave their other students so you weren't really getting a lesser education. Not to say that everything was perfect, I would say on campus at times felt like community college. They try to accommodate for a lot of people and some of them probably peaked their academia in high school. And so I would get frustrated having to recover a topic that certain students would find difficult and we wouldn't miss out on portions that would be useful in preparation the next course. One of the biggest advantages during covid was since the school had such a strong online presence a lot of the courses were easily transitioned online. Happy to say I have two degrees my associates and bachelor's from National University. I don't think it would have been possible at any other school.

National University helped broaden my horizons and gave me the tools start my own successful business in the transportation sector.

Great school but you must be mentally prepared to do the work because the facilitators are not all hands on. You must stay diligent in order to keep up and not fall behind. The best thing about this school is the ability to work from literally anywhere and do the work at your own pace at any time of the day. This was especially helpful to me as a full time employee.
