National University is a great school for the working person and for people who’s looking for a quicker path. In the two and half years at NU all my teachers were great, very helpful, and willing to keep you on track when late due to work. I only had two terrible teachers’ which was due to them being lazy but they were not bad people. In all I had a great time at NU and in the future hopefully I can go back to get my masters.

I was nervous at first about attending National University because I felt it might be a watered down educational experience; I was wrong and really enjoyed the program. The curriculum and cadence was spot on and have no regrets for attending. The courses were rigorous and kept me both engaged and on my toes. The journey of getting to the end, was better than receiving the degree itself. This was personal for me and has to be for anyone who decides to move forward. There was one major disappointment with National and that is they don't (or didn't) hire the very students who paid, learned and pushed through the programs they claim to believe in. Mentoring and hiring alumni would not only increase enrollment but also gives hope and motivates those who are struggling to keep pushing through. I suggest you change this rule and start to mentor and hire graduates from your establishment.

I had a very positive experience at National University. The staff were always willing to answer any questions I had, and were very supportive throughout my educational journey.

I have been happy with National University as the program and teachers are great. I am disappointed how the school addressed Commencement due to the pandemic. I was not able to walk last year when I graduated because the # was limited. This year, there was information and a form that I was able to fill out for a Northern CA Commencement, only to be told the information and form were published on the internet by mistake. There is no Commencement for Northern CA and the reason I was given was that there is not enough interest to have one, yet as a student and resident of Northern CA, my input was not considered (I was not asked). The Southern CA Commencement was a great experience, but was difficult financially to drive/fly family members and to obtain hotel accommodations. The event was chaotic. We were in line for registration for hours and many of us graduates were still checking in by the time the event started. Most of us sat under the heat for hours and when we walked our names were not called in sync when we were on the screen, so another graduate's name was shown when my family took my picture.

As long as you are willing to communicate your needs with staff and educators they will support you all the way to completion of your goals.

My overall experience with National University was great. The professors were amazing, they were always available to answer any questions and provide the support needed during the courses. I enjoyed the MAE program because I was able to customize my educational plan of study.

I took an A&P class 2021 March through June, completed all the Quizes, exams, went through all the class lectures, videos class participation projects with written documents describing the video and uploaded my paper to the class participation, and did everything I was asked to by the class instructor Dr. Rodriguez. However, was failed, although, I completed and passed every single quize, examinations, watched all videos necessary, and class lectures. I am lost in words to express my disappointment and hard work I completed. I filed for an appeal , but was denied without any reason given in return. The financial department wasted no to demand payment in full for the class I really passed but was given a fail grade. I contacted the federal student aid and loan department to get assistance. Federal department loan center said to call National University back and ask to speak to the supervisor and file a complaint, so I did. For both A&P class instructor and financial aid department. It is so disappointing since I have been a nurse for nearly 30 years. My dream was to graduate from the RNBSN program at nu.edu to hopefully educate the new nurses and maybe one day I could be an Director of Nurse at a health care facility. I helped several hundreds of people through their health issues and family members morn for their loved ones. I would think that I would have been more appreciated than given a failed grade, which I indeed do all the required A&P course work, and sometimes completed Quizes and examinations twice. I tape recorded myself in my written notes from lectures. I should have passed the A&P class.
