At the beginning of trying to apply for school it seem great, the advisors were communicating me of what I need to get done. A month ago, they stop their communication with me and I am still waiting an Academic advisor to register me for classes. Nothing has been done. I am considering on going to another school just for their lack of communication with me.

Since I started at NU, I have had no issues, and I have the answers I need when I have questions.

Terrible communication with financial aid. They are not helpful or student centered. I also don’t think they’re compliant with federal TIV guidelines. The portal is very confusing to navigate, which is strange since this college has so many online degree opportunities. Maybe they should use their money to invest in better platforms and FA staff.

I have been waiting on results from the CAS petition I had to do in order to start classes and I’ll reach to find out a status to be told someone would reach out to me and never hear back from anyone. I was suppose to start back April and still nothing. In the process of looking for another school to attend.

I like the convenience of the accelerated MA program. The classes are structured but still relatively flexible, which was helpful to work around the rest of my life. I do find it tricky that the professor you may get for a class doesn't necessarily write the lesson plan, so there were some inconsistencies between policies and formatting preferences of professors and the class syllabus. But overall I would recommend this program.

The school is fast paced and the work load seems to be a lot in some classes but its work that you have to spread out at your own pace. The professors are very open to hear you questions and concerns during the course. The school offers different services such as online tutors to help you with your essay's ideas, sources, and class related problems. I've been in for a year and have gotten 12 classes done so far. The classes go by quick and there are classes I really enjoyed when it came to doing essays.

The worst experience in my life dealing with admissions and the requisites. For this being an online school they really excel at making your life as complicated as possible by constantly switching your admissions overseer and asking for ridiculous information for an online school. Worst experience ever.

As a single, 40 year old mom of two teenage boys, I thought my dreams of going back to school would remain just that...dreams. However, National University made the enrollment process easy and each staff member that I spoke with was extremely helpful and understanding of my anxieties regarding going back to college after a 20 year hiatus. Navigating through my courses, and course work, has been very user friendly through Brightspace and I feel total confidence in my abilities to reach my educational goals thanks to the entire team at National University!
