Have always avoided getting a home security security system. I worked physical and personnel security for years so my own updates to locks and windows have always been adquit. Since most companies only offered one door or lock and then charged a arm and a leg for other entry points I figured why bother. The Sales Representative for NorthStar was not pushy. He offered a great package that was tailored for the needs of my house and it didn't cost my more than $70 a month. Installation in my case was same day. And the system is easy enough my wife and kids won't set it off all the time arming and disarming the system. And with the ability to give out guest codes to my front door I don't feel like I need to rekey my locks everytime we leave town and give someone a key to feed the animals. It's as simple as deleting their code from the system (might seem paranoid but I worked security for to many years). Only reason I didn't give 5 stars: my you have to pull on the front door to get the new door lock to engaged. Think this is mainly due to the door gastet not installation job itself. Everything works great and I am very satisfied with my system and I get 10% off my home owners insurance.

Impressed from the start with all aspects: Sales, Installation, service and the site/web applications. I am very happy with first impressions and hopefully this will be a long and trusting relationship with the company.

I love the new experience with the technology. However the installation hasn't been completed. Wifi issues and door bell problems.

Since almost the day after of installation I get constant errors either with the NorthStar app and SkyBell app. Both have not work well since installation. It might work well for a whole day then I get errors. This happens whether I'm at home or not. It's mostly frustrating when you get an alert and the SkyBell app freezes. Hopefully things get resolved really fast with Honeywell/NorthStar.

No service all week.

These guys are great the sale person, installer, customer services and the region manager of Central Houston area! Because of such matter I did not keep the service but was thrill to know what a great team and their effort went beyond any security system provider! They are proven winners and you are in need of security coverage do contact these North Star and enjoy the benefits!
