The company assured me I could take the portable oxygen concentrator on my flight but the airline denied it because it wasn't TSA approved. Spent $400 for nothing, very dissatisfied.

Good morning. All of our rental units are FAA approved. When you informed us of the issue it was on August 9, 2019 and your rental period ended on July 31, 2019. Once your rental period has ended there is nothing we can do. That was also stated in the rental agreement you signed prior to receiving the rental. You were informed by the representative you spoke with on the ninth that you needed to send the unit back to avoid any late fees though the unit was already late at that time. The unit that you rented was the Oxlife Independence by O2 Concepts. Please find the links below for the FAA approved portable oxygen concentrators and O2 Concepts FAA approval letter. https://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/cabin_safety/portable_oxygen/ https://o2-concepts.com/wp-content/themes/o2-concepts/images/FAA_Letter_2-8-18.pdf
