I am so confused how so many people had amazing experiences so I’m going to post this review in case anyone else has such a bad time with them. My experience was a disaster. We did finally close but almost every day, I was (and continue) to get conflicting information whether from the pipeline coordinator and the loan officer or my online account. Uploaded documents would be acknowledged and then disappear so I’d have to upload again, the closing was dragged out for months, I was charged for an emergency appraisal when the appraiser THEY hired ran off with my money (I did get this one resolved but only because me and my realtor called them out), they wouldn’t respond to my emails and then would say they had instead talked fo my lawyer which they had not. It went on and on for months. Between the closing attorney, myself, my realtor and the seller’s team, we were all blown away at how awful the process went on a daily basis. I am also confident that none of us involved with this home purchase on either side had a “friendly or eager to help” experience with this team at any level. I’m mystified, to be honest. Happy for all of you but totally mystified.

Choosing Neighbors Bank for my first home was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my entire life. I truly consider her to be a lifelong friend of myself and my family. There was never a moment that I didn’t know where I stood in the process and I was informed every step of the way. Neighbors Bank was great to work with - David, Sara, Kathryn, Jessie, and Tessa worked together to get us into our new home within our tight deadline! They listened and were helpful in answering our many questions. The easy to use Neighbors Bank web portal showed us our to do list, as well as made it convenient to upload the needed documents and import the needed financial information.

Refi is a tedious process and sometimes frustrating but Steve Vuckovich was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. Thank you Steve.

My loan officer, Rachael Plaggenberg, was AMAZING. She was personable, delightful to talk to every time, intelligent, knowledgeable, prompt in her responses, and invested in me and my new home. She made me feel comfortable during my entire process, from looking for a home (which took quite a while) to the day I closed. She bent over backward for me to make things work within a short time frame. I doubt I'd have been able to make it through such a stressful process without someone who cared so much. I also had the pleasure of working with Jami Clevenger and Liz Keith; together, these three ladies made an incredible team, and I couldn't have asked for a better crew. I wish every company worked as hard as these ladies.
