Neighbors Bank has been the best choice for mortgage company my family and I made. Our loan officer, Melissa Janke was incredibly diligent and helpful in every step of the way. Our loan file had special circumstances but Neighbors Bank remained flexible and helped us meet their conditions and requirements. We closed on Friday 7.08.2022 thanks to Melissa and Tessa Henderson (Pipe Line Coordinator). They both were very interpersonal and worked hard to get us the mortgage. Horrendous experience. We began the home loan process in May. More than a month in, we were told my husband could be on the loan because his credit score was 718 and they wouldn’t finance anyone below 720. Thankfully I could finance alone so we went that route. One week before closing and 3 weeks after underwriting, I was called and told my loan was denied because I had not been at my current employer for a minimum of two years. Please go elsewhere. They do not care about the customer.
