NavanReviews of navan.com

This company have platform to rate the views and hiring people to get job and you put money to continue the journey and if yiu get premium you got commission double and if yiu delayed to out money they blocked you and you can't withdraw your money. This is not fair ..you scam people get money and gone

The app experience hasn't been an issue for me, but when I have to book hotels, I often find that the fees are over 1/3 of the cost of the hotel alone. This is absurd, for example, I just booked a hotel and the invoice from the hotel came to a total of £180 GBP. The Navan cost was $363 USD (£285 GBP approx). This is insane. The cost is broken down as: $234 Room Rate $111.75 Taxes and Fees $18 Trip fee I'm not sure why fees is grouped together with taxes as VAT is automatically charged within the room rate, so the fees alone were $129.75 including 'Trip fee' as this is just another fee for the sake of it. If your org is cutting costs and restricting budgets, be mindful as going direct to the hotel/flight carrier/train operator is much, much cheaper than going through Navan. For general trip expenses like food/taxi's etc, it works well.

Shocking experience. All flights on average £100 more then booking without NAVAN !!!!! WAKE UP EMPLOYERS. WHAT'S THE POINT OF THIS????? SHALL WE NOT KEEP THE COST DOWN !!!!!!

Apparently the booking confirmation page is incomplete, and they charge additional fees after you make the reservation. You only find this out after you make the reservation and you check your bank account. Really not sure how this is legal

Buggy. Unreliable. Slow. You think it's going to book, and then you get a message saying the booking failed, which requires you to enter ALL of the information all over again. Avoid.

I have used Navan for a while and it has worked OK. I recently needed to change a flight date and it was a very frustrating experience. The airline shows many available seats on their website, however on Navan they say there is none. I contacted their support team and after hours of back and forth, they said they can't change the flight because there are no seats. It's not true. There is some issue around transparency here, if the airline has available seats, they should be available on Navan. I gave them several dates and still no help. Also, at some point they asked me if I wanted to upgrade to business class because they had availability when this does not show on the airline's website. It's as if they were looking at something completely different. There is no way to escalate a case either, no complaints form is available.

Absolutely terrible. Customer service is not able to solve basicaly anything. Sometimes I'm wondering if I'm really chatting with real agents or chatbot. Often they don't even understand the problem and asking same stupid question. I wouldn't recommend at all.

We're forced to use navan for work trips. It's absolutely ridiculously bad. - The mobile app and desktop app have different prices for the same flights and hotels; - the mobile app and desktop app have different policy limitations - with the same user profile, for the same trip. - it's consistently more expensive to book through navan than directly through the hotel or e.g. expedia (hundreds of dollars more expensive); - The "recommended" options are often $150-$200 more per night than the options found if you scroll down. The exact same room at a hotel can be booked at many different prices (with the same conditions); - Sometimes the pricier options give higher navan rewards - incentivising travellers to spend more corporate cash; - When booking a private hotel stay today, using saved up "rewards" the price that I clicked to confirm said $187. A few minutes later, my credit card was charged $199, which is more than the cost of the hotel through other sites and the hotel directly. - Cancelling the booking, my rewards were not returned. I won't use navan for personal bookings ever again. I wonder if the same happens to our work trips; since that's not linked to my personal credit card, I have no idea if they are consistently overcharging by 8-9% or more. I've unsuccessfully lobbied for our company to ditch navan, but this warrants another go.
