A product and solution that serves neither the consumer or the corporate customer. Navan's user experience is created by developers and product managers who do zero dogfooding of their software. What frustrates me about Navan is their intent to be a perfect hybrid solution, yet mastering neither application. So overall, Navan is truly a terrible, terrible product. And while it may save your employers some money, due to the fact that your employees actually just start booking hotels and flights themselves out of pure frustration, I would not recommend this service or software to anyone.

Live agents are great and fast but not always accurate. You have to check the details. Website is glitchy and very very slow. Not user friendly. I'd book all travel requests myself to give agents a break but the website is a deterrent from being proactive. Agents it is! Thanks all.

Navan platform is not user friendly. We have to navigate and search for a long time to get to what we want to view or execute in Navan.

A new feature is rolled out to allow luggage booking with EasyJet. However it seems like nobody at product is testing the feature because it does not work with a very common corporate credit card. According to the card issue you can’t charge and reserve payments at the same time so stop doing that. Customer support is also clueless.

On the surface, Navan is an incredibly convenient platform for both employees and businesses. When your travel goes according to plan, the app is slick, user-friendly, and easy to manage. However, the moment there is a disruption - like a cancelled flight or a booking issue - the entire service completely falls apart. Customer support is shockingly incompetent. Instead of resolving the issue, they feed you false promises, drag their feet, and ultimately leave you stranded to sort out the mess (and the out-of-pocket expenses) yourself. It’s a fair-weather tool. If your company values duty of care and actually needs reliable support during travel emergencies, Navan is a massive liability. (case #07907981)

The system is VERY slow. It flags expenses incorrectly. It is not intuitive at all. The time for me to create my expense report just increased from 1 hour to over 4 hours.

Not great at all for business travel. Navan is so focused on getting the cheapest prices by any means possible, it creates inconveniences that add up to a bad travel experience. When booking fares, I found that flights that were more convenient were listed as sold out even though they were available on other travel sites. What was available to me were the inconvenient times with lower fares. Sucks if you're forced to use Navan by your corporate travel policy. On an airfare that I did book, I was in one of the last boarding groups even though my partner - who booked her seat next to mine through another site paid the same fare and was in an earlier boarding group. Not a big deal until you see that the airline is disallowing carry-ons for later boarding groups because the flight is full. Finally , on two separate occasions, I've had hotel clerks question how I got my rate because I was ineligible for it. Thankfully they honored it but not great to hear when traveling for work. I'm going to ask my office to switch their corporate travel partner.
