Subscribed on 07/30/26 for online account. Credit card was verified by computer. Next morning an e mail stating they needed card information updated. Just in case we re entered information again. The computer again verified information correct.08/03/26 yet another e mail asking for updated card information. Called customer service and as is the modern way, foreign call handlers. Eventually got through to IOWA and was fed some BS about how they run credit cards. When i explained my knowledge of 20 plus years managing the credit card systems of two companies and that this started to smell of a scam to get multiple card numbers. I was then treated to silence and refusal to speak to a manager to resolve issue. The lady (Kristy) then hung up Multiiple attempts to ask for credit card numbers is a sign of a scamming attempt. Nat geo refusal to address this issue in one call is at best disgusting. Sadly another fine company gone down the tubes. As a postcript I do not want to hear the excuse of third party agency involvement. Business done as Nat Geo is Nat geo.

After over 30 years of subscribing to multiple National Geographic magazines - BYE BYE. I am disgusted that you have raised the price over 40% on the regular magazine since last year. It is insulting!!! I was ok with more ads, less volume in articles & I can afford this higher price no problem... BUT- you should have raised the price over a number of years- not all at once. And PS- I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR ONLINE ARTICLES & EMAILS that you now include. I guess I should not be suprised as you are now owned by the woke DISNEY Co. Thanks for the memories & good luck staying in business. I am sure many customers feel the same way as me.

Dear Sally, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us and we are very sorry to see you go. We understand your concern about recent subscription price increases, and we appreciate the opportunity to address it. At National Geographic, we work hard to keep subscription rates as affordable as possible; however, recent increases in operating expenses including printing, postage, and materials have made it necessary to adjust our subscription rates so we can continue delivering the high-quality journalism, stunning photography, and digital experience our subscribers expect. We value your feedback and understand that price changes can be frustrating. We hope the value you receive from National Geographic’s award-winning storytelling and trusted reporting continues to make your subscription worthwhile. Thank you for your longtime support of National Geographic and we hope you choose to subscribe again soon with us. Sincerely, National Geographic Customer Services

Subscribed in June to the Traveller edition - apparently won't get a magazine til August. I apparently just missed the cut off point for getting a June edition when I signed up on the 5th. I was looking forward to my July edition and emailed today (the 10th) to ask when it would come. I was told that I'd now missed the boat again and won't get a magazine til August now. There was no explanation as to what happened or if my magazine was even dispatched and zero resolution beyond continuing to wait. It feels scammy as though they're hoping people will just forget they've signed up or not want to keep chasing and I definitely won't be renewing or recommending.

Dear Tash, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience with National Geographic Traveller (UK) magazine, which is published by APL Media under licence from National Geographic. Your subscription was purchased on 7 May 2026. As the June issue had already gone to print, your subscription began with the July/August 2026 issue. The UK records show this issue was dispatched by our mailing house and should have been delivered from around 5 June. When you contacted us on 10 July to report that your copies had not arrived, we investigated the matter. Unfortunately, by that point the issue was out of stock, so we were unable to send a replacement copy. To ensure you did not miss out, we extended your subscription at no extra cost to include an additional issue. We're sorry we weren't able to provide the replacement you were hoping for, but we did our best to resolve the situation once it was brought to our attention. We will be in touch to see how we can resolve this for you.

NATGEO is Still a milestone among my readings I Could make evident the increase in representing your journalists Who writes the articles And/or photographer And in general persons instead of places or objects maybe for better economical gestion of expenses

Very quick resolution

Was subscribing as a gift for a friend. I thought it odd at the time that I had signalled this but couldn’t see an option to enter a separate mailing address. Could be my mistake. Anyway, I contacted customer service to resolve which was a straightforward process. Thank you.
