We purchased three myzone MZ3 units in…December 2021
We purchased three myzone MZ3 units in December 2020 but did not start using them till 2021. Of the three two are rarely used, but I use mine 3 times/week. Within a few months I noticed that I had to charge teh battery every few weeks, then every week and now before every workout. I have contacted myzone and said I'm happy to buy a new battery, but they just offered $50 off a new unit. The introduction email I got stated "Did you know your Myzone belt has a battery life of three to six months? You should only charge your MZ-3 belt when your smartphone app alerts you that your battery is running low." They are using cheap batteries with the expectation customers will keep buying new units once monitor is out of warranty. Shameful

Hi Sukhbir, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and we're very sorry for any frustration caused. Our 12-month warranty on all devices begins when the belt is first used to track a workout. Additionally, certain charging practices outside of our recommendations (found in our Help Center) can diminish battery health unexpectedly. Otherwise, with proper charging practices, the devices are expected to operate well for several years. We are always more than happy to replace a unit within this 12-month period due to accident damage to the battery, however we must be made aware within this time frame in order to assist. As this unit is 29 months past the warranty, unfortunately it is not eligible for a replacement and we do apologize for the inconvenience. Best wishes, Team Myzone
