I bought an Innovo package recently & had a few issues with the product which were dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner by Serena. I haven't been using the product long enough to assess its effectiveness .

I am not happy with the product. I made be returning it.

I’m on week 12 and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I waited to see if Innovo was going to help lift a prolapsing bladder issue since it’s been years after my hysterectomy. I was in line for surgery to correct prolapse when it was suggested I try Innovo by my doctor. I was skeptical but after reflecting on surgery recover I decided to buy it. Six weeks I saw an improvement with no urgency and definite lifting of the pelvis floor. An additional benefit was my buttocks muscles are now lifted and perkier than when I started. I eventually got up to level 100 and now do 3 day a week maintenance at 100. My doctor canceled surgery after my last exam, she felt the treatment worked well enough. I just spoke with an Innovo representative about an incident with the power to the shorts. She was very patient with me and we were able to temporarily resolve the issue. We will continue to monitor the power situation and try to record specific information which shows on the battery powered screen.

Great customer service, very helpful sorting out the problems I experienced and I am very happy with the outcome

My mother has a pair of these that developed a fault and no longer work, she bought them "new" on ebay so we knew that she couldn't use the warranty but were happy to pay for the repair or the new shorts or control box just to get them working but we got no help. If they're not bought direct or from amazon they wont help, they couldn't tell me what the error code meant but did offer to sell me a pair of shorts that i may or may not need, that i couldn't return if they didn't solve the problem. They also didn't recommend getting them repaired anywhere else. They might as well have said throw them in the bin! I think seeing as they will repair shorts within warranty they could offer the service for a fee, it's not asking much. Shame they've not heard of the right to repair bill

I started using the Innovo shorts (size 5) at the beginning of July 2021. My initial impressions were very good, I thought the instruction manual was clear and couldn’t wait to get started. I was pleased with the box that the Innovo shorts/equipment arrived in and use it to store the spray, connectors, device monitor and battery charger. I hang my shorts in the wardrobe after each session. During week two I had a problem with the electrode connectors and contacted Customer Services. The Advisor was great and talked through possible reasons for the poor connection. She tried to fix the problem over the telephone but when this wasn’t possible, arranged to send out replacement connectors; these arrived just two days later which meant I could recommence the 12 week programme with very little disruption. Excellent service. I have urge incontinence and use Programme 2 which I have followed consistently. After using Innovo for 6 weeks I achieved the top intensity level (70) and could feel the shorts lifting and squeezing my pelvic floor muscles. I also began to notice a small improvement with my ‘urge’ issues. At week 11 another technical problem occurred. My device monitor started to bleep and showed the error message ‘3/7’. I followed the advice in the instruction booklet i.e. removing shorts, disconnecting/reconnecting electrodes etc numerous times but the same error message was displayed so I contacted Customer Services again. The Advisor talked me through the possible reasons for the error message and, under instruction, I sprayed the shorts and put them on/connected the electrodes etc using both the standing and lying down positions - but without success. The Advisor asked me to measure my hip and leg size and from the information provided said it was likely that the problem was a connection issue and I needed size 4 rather than 5 shorts. She arranged to forward a replacement pair of shorts to me (it was Friday afternoon) and I was pleased to receive them the following Monday morning. I thought this was an excellent turn around as it meant I could recommence the programme without delay. The size 4 shorts are a snug fit but they are working well so resizing was a good call from the Advisor. I am now on week 12 of the P2 programme and am much more aware of my pelvic floor muscle. I still have urge incontinence moments, but these have reduced since starting the programme. Now, when I feel ‘the urge’ I consciously contract/relax my pelvic floor muscle and count to 10 and quite often the awful ‘urge’ dissipates without a leak. As I transfer to the maintenance programme at the end of week 12 I am hopeful that the good results I have achieved will continue and eventually my urge incontinence will totally disappear.

If I am honest this product really does work. I have been using it for 8-9 weeks and there are definite improvements. I wouldn't say it is the be-all-and-end-all but it does give noticeable improvements. However, that said, as a medical device it is poorly designed. I have received numerous electric shocks, burn marks and continual pain. It is now almost impossible to last through a half hour session. I usually abort after 20 minutes because I can't tolerate it, even on a low setting. I originally ordered the size 3, but then after receiving shocks and finding the fit quite baggy, the company sent me a replacement in size 2. These are a better fit and I don't have disconnection issues but they do cause more burns and redness. So, to be honest with you, if you really are determined and don't mind gritting your teeth through the pain and discomfort they are worth it. I hope they improve the technology in the future as these do have the potential to really improve pelvic floor strength.
