They paired with UHC to rip me off. Consider the current state of the UHC CEO, this company provides equivalent terrible service. No wonder they are buuuuddies. After wearing the test device for 9 hours it read that I only wore it for 4 hours. The Zendesk help system was TERRIBLE when it came to trying to upload my picture. This took over three weeks because their website is TRASH. Now I got hit with an unusually high insurance bill because they are OUT OF NETWORK, I am sorry, WHAT?! I DON'T EVEN HAVE A DEVICE FOR SLEEPING YET!!!!!!

I had a great experience with GEM! I loved the convenience of doing the sleep study at home with a simple wrist/finger monitor vs having to be at a sleep lab hooked up to machines. When I received my report and needed a CPAP machine, my GEM coach helped me get connected to their partner CPAP equipment company that took my insurance. It was all seamless, virtual, and easy process. I highly recommend for anyone who is considering a sleep study for sleep apnea!

They offered everything I needed at a very fair price. It is easy to use my HSA to pay and my products are delivered promptly. I highly recommend GEM Sleep!!!!!

Absolute bullshit scam. Total waste of time and money. Recommended via UHC insurance portal. Typical medical system billing - no warning of actual price, and you get billed hundreds of dollars months later. Billed for a 30-second bullshit “doctor” appointment.

I wish I read other reviews before I went into this. It’s a waste of time and money. First off, they cancelled my initial appointment suddenly. When I finally rescheduled, I went in thinking I’d have a 10 minute visit according to their text alert. I was billed for a 30 minute appointment when the telehealth call lasted less than a minute. They didn’t even follow up with me after the visit. I don’t believe my results were accurate so I’ll have to go for further consultation elsewhere. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Scam! I talked to someone for 2 minutes. They asked me identifying questions to make sure I was the right person. Then they said ok your sleep study device is on the way. For that 2 minute conversation I was billed &79. I did the study sent it to them and got an email with a referral to another dr for a mouth guard. Then received a bill for almost for $400 for the whole process.

The service was acceptable/average but the billing was misleading and the charges were unacceptably high. This company was linked through my insurance carrier but now they are out of network so I have to pay the high charges out of pocket. If you are here checking on these reviews, my advice is to be very careful with them on the financial side and to get the coverage guarantee in writing before starting the process.
