The app is horrible. Not only does the time zone selection keep reverting to New York, we can't get the watering or lights to keep the 'schedule' selected. They both revert back to manual about ten seconds after trying to set it. What a terrible terrible app. Also, some of the help videos are laughable. in the one about a un-kinking the line in the basin, the narrator can't even resolve it as she demonstrating. Is anyone reviewing things before releasing them?

I like the product but their customer service is lacking. A portion of my tower broke the other day and I've been unable to get in touch with anyone to get a replacement part. I paid for two years support and that appears to have been a waste of money. Their web site isn't helpful at all for ordering replacement parts. You're only option is to open a live chat that doesn't work. Very disappointed with this aspect. I'm going to duct tape the tower piece to get by; when it gives away completely the unit will go into the trash and I won't be back and won't have much nice to say about the product. Gardyn sent the replacement part I needed which was great. My only complaint is that no one confirmed that they had received my message. I was sent an email that an item had shipped but I thought it was my pod order. The email didn't specify what was being shipped. A simple "ok we received your request and a replacement will be sent out right away" would have eliminated the issue. Thank you for sending the replacement part.

I've only been a Gardyner for a little over 2 weeks now and I'm already in LOVE with my system, my plants & the Gardyn Community! Although the shipping company completely damaged the box, Gardyn Customer Service was nothing but empathetic about the experience and made sure to rectify the situation. I've spoken directly to two Customer Service Representatives and they were both professional and very helpful. My Gardyn is growing beautifully. I love the way it brightens up my home, I love walking up to new growth and it brings me so much joy every day!

I have nothing but good things to say about the gardyn. The simplicity of the unit makes growing a breeze even for a complete novice and the control and information provided by the app allows fine tuning for more advanced users. I loved my first so much I bought a second a couple months after my initial purchase. 10/10 great product and great customer service

I love my Gardyn! Its design perfectly fit with my apartment and the taste of the greens we are growing is really unique. Even the kids now enjoy eating salads!

I am an avid collector of hydroponics systems and highly recommend the Gardyn for indoor gardening. The hardware by itself is well built, modern, stylish and easy to use. Many new Gardyners will appreciate the size of the reservoir, which isn’t too small requiring frequent refills or too large making it difficult to troubleshoot. The water reservoir is easily accessible making weekly maintenance a breeze. The technology in the Gardyn is also well developed, allowing you to monitor your plants’ watering and lighting schedules. I am an owner of multiple units and I have grown a wide range of plants including herbs, lettuces, greens, cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers. I am currently growing multiple eggplants and pole beans for the first time, and they are all doing well. It is a beautiful, well designed system that allows you to eat well from the comfort of your own home.

I am a long term black thumb gardener. Even with a history of killing succulents and the impossible to kill plants. I became a part of this community as someone who was willing to give home gardening a try since it said it was for even those of us who weren’t gardeners. I couldn’t be more thrilled!I have been successful with the lettuces, the herbs and the fruiting plants. Not only has it provided me with food to eat but it has dramatically improved my mental health. I have even just recently bought my second system!
