Brightwheel makes communicating with parents so much easier and faster!

The billing is a little complicated at times and customer service has been hard to contact. Other than that we love the system

Brightwheel is a great app to use to communicate with parents. The only thing I would change is having an option to group students names together so it will be easier to select children that sit at the same table!

Love how we can track and check in our kids! It’s a good organizational tool for our group. I feel there are a few things that could be tweaked. Pictures: I don’t like how the comment goes on every picture of a large selection of pictures at a time. I also don’t like how I do not receive notifications if a parent loves a photo. I’d also like for there to be a way for parents to comment on the picture. Honestly our school choose brightwheel so that we could have this aspect of pictures with the app. It would be great if we could see if parents have seen a message that has been sent. We feel like there a lot of ‘blackholes’ As we are communicating with our parents. Also I don’t like how messaging isn’t on the activities option. I find it a little awkward going back and forth into different parts when I’m specifically looking at a child and have to get out of the profile to then go into messages. Thanks!

It is wonderful how teachers are able to share what your child is involved in throughout the day.

I'm very excited to have a cloud based platform and allow parent to log in and see their information and statements online... This should have reduced the time we spend on billing... Overall the customer service team is very nice and considerate. However the availability is very limited. We just started to use BW and had so many issues, some were normal beginner questions and some were more complex and needed additional attention and guidance. Specific issues that we need help with as follow: The statements are presenting a partial information, for example when we give a credit there is nothing in the statement that is indicating that we gave a credit, although the balance was adjusted correctly. This is very confusing for parent. Credit card fees are not automatically integrated and we need to add them manually to each statement. Parent can not make payments on the app. I heard it's coming up soon. The statement period at the top of the statement is very confusing for parent who are looking for the service period.
