I ordered a customized dust cover for my turntable a few years ago. They sent me a template to show where I needed cutouts for cables etc. For the dimensions I asked for details on how to measure the length and width and height. Well when I received the item, the cover was very tight; meaning that to put it on, most of the time it will contact the platter or tonearm. Recently I noticed that my tonearm's tracking force was 3 grams rather than the 2 grams recommended for my cartridge; this can only be explained by the cover banging into the counterweight, and moving it forward. For a relatively expensive customized product, which cannot be returned I would have expected much better attention to detail. No reply to my complaints. Unfortunately I spent thousands of dollars prior to this, which I would rather have given to a reputable business.

I was looking for a pair of REVA-4 and central channel REVA-C from Whardefale and found an amazing open box deal from their website. I called the store to confirm it was a real business and gauge the people knowledge on this particular speaker. Based on this very positive impression I decided to place the order and they even offered me free shipping and special discount since they could not trade-in my old speakers. 24h later I received 3 boxes with my speakers, they are exactly as described and are just perfect! I will re-order from them without any hesitation

I am disappointed with the recent ordering process and availability of vinyl with this company. Online it states ships in 1-2 business days. When I called to cancel a part of my order I was advised that 1-2 days could mean 6 weeks. It would be appropriate to state in stock or not. Also a follow up email to assure the customer would be great. I was advised that they would need a barn sized warehouse to store vinyl that they sell. Perhaps Music direct should invest in such a warehouse out of town and offer better information on stock to their clients. I will not order again from music direct unless I have more honesty and assurety about the stock and delivery.

I just recently ordered 4 vinyl records from Musicdirect online and haven't received 3 of them, it's been 18 days now and still never shipped. At the time of purchase all 4 items were "in-stock" and its availability stated "ships 1-2 days" but this was not the case whatsoever. I followed up everyday and the status of these items frequently changed day-by-day from "in stock" to "out of order" or "awaiting repress" then back to "in stock - ships 1-2 days" however my items never shipped. The one item I did receive arrived after 2 weeks which was way later than I anticipated. I talked to a rep on the phone and he assured me the 3 items would ship no later than 2 days. It's been 2 days and no word at all. I just sent them a message online explaining the situation and currently await a response. My advice: Find a more reliable company for your music needs.

Danny Tompkins was the sales rep helping me out.. the guy is completely unprofessional, showed no eagerness to help and quoted me a price and it did not honor it. I would stay away from this place at all cost.
