I purchased a vinyl album Blood Sweat & Tears, a 45 rpm that was a one step and mofi vinyl, that was sold as a new item, and the cost was $150. I was sent an open box and a quite used album with some scuffs, even small scratches and dirty. As well, the storage box for the set of albums was damaged as it was poorly packed in a single layer box. By comparison the Albums I received from Acoustic Production were all new, sealed, and packed in a very good double layered heavy duty box. I will never buy from Music Direct again.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM MUSIC DIRECT! DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! My experience with Music Direct has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable. If Music Direct does not allow international customers to purchase certain products due to distribution restrictions, then their system should never allow those orders to be placed in the first place. My order was accepted, processed, and fully paid for—only to be canceled afterward. That is a failure of their ordering system, not the customer. What makes this worse is the potential financial loss caused by currency exchange rate differences when refunds are issued. This means I may actually lose money due to an error entirely on Music Direct’s end. Canceling paid international orders after checkout is not just inconvenient—it’s unfair. If Music Direct and MoFi Electronics have strict, non-negotiable policies: They must be clearly disclosed before purchase, and Their website should automatically block international orders at checkout, not after payment is taken. Allowing international customers to complete purchases and then canceling them later is misleading and reflects very poorly on Music Direct’s customer experience, transparency, and technical competence. I expected far better from a company with this reputation. Until their ordering system and policies are fixed, I would strongly caution international customers against ordering from Music Direct.

Atrocious company , don't waste your money with them., ordered a vinyl album on the 8/09/24 , they took the money and ignored all emails asking for updates . Ive started a chargeback via bank against them and warn others not to order from them. I'd give them -5 stars if I could.

Shorted me half my order, waited a week for the other half. No response to email. Draw your own conclusions.

Ordered Elvis Presley Golden Records 2lp 45 rpm. Received unplayable scratched records. Assuming this was a used item. Payed for new. Customer service refused to do anything about it when I called.

Terrible customer service. If your trying to get a refund it's nearly impossible. Buyer beware. I bought a tube ,and the sent me the wrong one tried telling me it was the right one . Clearly it was not it had a different number on it. Still waiting for the refund. They keep lying to me every time I call

Exchange fraud! They sent me a defective network player and the simple exchange cost me $1049.10. They deducted a huge restocking fee on an exchange and only paid a penny for the shipping. Do not do business with this company.

Music Direct who owns Mobile Fidelity has been found out to be misleading customers for over a decade failing to mention that Mofi records (including the $125 one step records) are not all analog but infact sourced from dsd (digital) files. Read about the story in the Washington Post. You guys ought to be ashamed! You owe your customers a refund and a apology but neither is likely to happen. Audiophiles take a stand and take your business elsewhere.
