I have purchased a number of items from Music Direct over the years. I have never had an issue. I purchased an open box Clearaudio strobe. The disc is warped, there were no materials included and the spine of the jacket was badly split. I sent pictures and was offered a measly $10. Alternatively, I could return it at a cost of $30. Some retailers stand behind their products; Music Direct obviously does not...

I am giving one star because there is no zero star option. I ordered a turntable for my son for Christmas and the glass table came badly broken. Sent a photo ASAP and was told I would have the replacement. It took multiple follow-ups and 7 weeks - and they sent the wrong part and they have no solution other than getting a refund after 3-4 weeks or waiting for them to try to get the right replacement in 4-6 weeks. To add insult to injury, manager was beyond rude, speaking loudly over my voice to tell me it’s my fault. Crazy...

I purchased JBL 4367 Tower Speakers in September 2020. The entire process was perfect. Especially the sensitivity of the sales agent re a $15,000 purchase. I am extremely happy with my purchase and Music Direct service.

I bought the Elac Debut 2 DB6.2 walnut speakers for X'mas. They were $100 off at walnut finish available and free shipping !! could not find this deal anywhere else. Since I was worried from other people review on MD I called them regarding the shipping and spoke with a person in less than 30sec. she was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Fast FedEx shipping. In my case I can say- Good product and service!!! for sure I will use again MD

Horrible customer service, sales rep Josh should not be in customer service. When is it ok for an employee in sales to totally disregard a customers need and then hang up the phone on the customer and would not complete the order he had in front of him all because the customer prefer to pick up his order which the company allows rather than have the order ship. Why are you dealing with the public if you are an irate person and you do not have any patient to talk with buying customers. This type of behavior will deter new and existing customer from purchasing with the company, and the sad part about this bad experience is that the company gets another bad review which hurts the company more than the sales guy Josh.

I placed two orders of vinyls. A few of them were not available but the website said should ship within 3-7 business days. I wrote them twice to check on the shipment date. I was told to be patient although it has been over a month. The other order, items finally completely "shippable" after 4 weeks, I kept writing them to ship. No response. I don't they are interested in customer service at all. Will bring my business elsewhere.

Bought a $3000 phono cartridge, smug little angry people it seems. You would think the sales guy would have some interest... Like pulling teeth to get info, totally uninterested. Sorry my 5k purchase bored you being I am a woman I guess. @#$%hole. The ONLY reason I went through with it is being the zero percent. They know this, why they do it. Not a secret, look the countless reviews up. Funny you cant leave a Google review.... If I could have done it elsewhere, I absolutely would have. They just leave you with that grease-ball used car sale feeling. Notice I didn't name the phono cart? I wouldn't dare want that beauty to get mixed up with these folks in any way. My point is go somewhere else, even if for a little more money(which is never the case, the usually are the most expensive too.... imagine that). They cornered the market we audiophiles loved and now treat it like a sweat shop. To prove the point, I know a major record store owner. JUST start dealing with them because they punish you on cost, stock and timing of stock with MOFI and Analogue productions if you don't play ball because they are part owner now. Ever wonder why you see some people have a SE copy of Mofi and you cant find it anywhere else? That is why. So "F" this windbag company, spend your money elsewhere. Only way smug arrogant asses like this learn.

Website said trade anything in for a product on their website , so I filled out the form with pictures of speaker cable and sent it in, later got a phone call with them telling me oh there won’t be enough profit for us to do a trade like that ( I was trading for a pair of cardas clear 3meter cables). I don’t believe everything they say on their website for now on... at least Audioadvisor has so far told me the truth with prices and trade ins.
