Just cancelled order with this retailer. Waited 10 days for prefer to be shipped. Took 3 calls to get an explanation why. Reason billing address different from shipping. No offer of service recovery for inconvenience. Could have taken off 10% from $150 purchase. Thoroughly dissatisfied with this retailer. WOULD NEVE RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

They advertise that you can keep a unit for 60 days and return it for any reason risk free. This is not true. You will have to pay for the return shipping of the item unless it is defective or damaged. If you want this kind of guarantee, you need to shop at Crutchfield.

Ordered an Ortofon 2m mono. They took several weeks to ship it and when they did, I ended up needing to leave town for a few days on a last minute business trip. Scheduled FedEx to hold the package until I got back. On the day I got back and FedEx was supposed to deliver it, Music Direct ordered it back because they thought my paying for it and not picking it up was “fraud” somehow. I still haven’t even gotten a refund for it. It’s been a month since I ordered it and I still have no cartridge and am out $398.

Just went to buy something in my cart.... they raised prices almost 25% to nail Christmas shoppers. Old price was on my screen from yesterday and went to purchase, BOOM up $50.... I took everything on my XMas list from them off.... This includes clearance items they jacked up pricing. LOL Buyer beware!!! Sad.... I liked them...

Mac Miller passed away, I spent days searching the internet for a reputable company to order his LPs from. This was a gift for my boyfriend because of how devastated he was. Everyone I worked with was helpful, courteous and upfront about the set expectations for the back ordered products. Overall an excellent experience (have not received the materials yet) if their customer service is a tell of how this company operates I have a feeling I'm in excellent hands. (Will update after package is received).

I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Braid, a few months ago now and decided to upgrade my home Organ. Unfortunately since that time I have been having a few health problems and I was not able to use my computer. However things are now almost back to normal and I can give my review to 'Music Direct'. Peter could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much to explain and his guidance was priceless. One of the things that really amazed me about Peter was the way he delivered the Organ to my home. To handle such a large musical instrument they way he did with no help was truly amazing. After installing the organ he gave us a impromptu concert on the instrument to show the versatility of the instrument. Which also showed what a very fine musician he. I would certainly without question recommend 'Music Direct'. If I decide to upgrade in the future I will go straight to @Music Direct'. Thanks once again Peter for your guidance, ALAN BUCKL

Have been using MusicDirect for a while now and must say they have been just fantastic. Living in Singapore didn't present any challenges and all my shipments of vinyl have arrived safely and perfectly. My Order ####1784, a "high value" item was messed up big time. Repeated request felt on deaf ears and no one in their team took a sincere effort. I was charged 72 Dollars and they sent it via 7 Days shipment. Had to call multiple time to correct that. Even with Multiple calls all talk and no action. Very frustrating experience.
