What initially hooked me with Morty were their competitive rates. What kept me with them was the technology and unbelievably fantastic team. First, the ability to pull Pre-Approval letters within minutes was instrumental, especially in this insanely competitive housing market where a house listing could last as little as 2 days! (It happened) And of course the entire crazy process of getting the final approval and closing, they were just the best. Great experience from day one working with the team at Morty. Nick was responsive from the start and helped me understand the process better. Jack and Keegan helped get us across the finish line and made it an easy process for us to stay on top of as we got down to the wire on closing. Even with a few of the less common situations we had with owning an additional investment property, the team quickly informed me of all documents that were needed to hand off to the lender to make sure we were on track. They were a good option for me as a relatively experienced buyer. They are masterful at prioritizing time, responding quickly to the time sensitive questions and slower to everything else. In my case, there was a misunderstanding on debt to income ratio and I was recategorized as a higher risk bracket two days before closing (increasing our payment). They had the relationship with the lender to get the necessary approvals pushed through in a short timeframe. Appreciate the assistance with this loan.
