Compared to the Sony WM-1, the iFi Sensai Bar paired with the Silver Dragon cable delivers noticeably greater clarity and transparency — cleaner highs, tighter bass, and a more open midrange that reveals micro-details the Sony smooths over. The presentation feels faster and more precise, ideal for critical listening. However, using it with an iPhone can be a bit of a hassle: the setup draws power aggressively, and the phone tends to heat up after longer sessions. Still, in terms of pure sonic resolution, this combo clearly outperforms the WM-1 and sets a new benchmark for portable playback fidelity. Plus handling the one player on the phone is much easier than over DAP's. Moon Audio’s support team recommended this setup — something I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own. They’re incredibly responsive and clearly live and breathe audio. Their passion for great sound and deep knowledge of their gear really comes through in every interaction.
