The interlock ignition is faulty. Too time consuming to get from a to b. The blow test are to frequent and unsafe to perform while driving. It is irrational to blow 3 times for a 7 minute drive.

In response to your specific concern about random retests, state regulations, not the interlock industry, determine the frequency of random retests and the time period in which they must be taken prior to recording the event as a missed test. In most states, users have 5-6 minutes to maneuver their vehicle to a safe location to take the test. We advise pulling over to take your test.

Very understanding and kind people over the phone setting up the install and at the office explaining and installing the machine. I once used smart start and it was a nightmare. Monitech is very professional and are very good at explaining the process. Having this machine in my car is a bummer but it's not the company or the people that suck. I can't say enough good things. Very helpful to explain the machine may have hiccups and how to avoid it. Quick to take a look at maintenance issues.
