Unproffesional
I live in Fayetteville, NC and I was previously an Alcolock customer. Since my company was changed to Monitech, I have had a very difficult time with the representative at your Fayetteville location. In the beginning he expressed very clearly to everyone in the office and myself that he was the only person working there and was very overwhelmed because he had a lot of installs from Alcolock in addition to his regulars. I went a couple of times (on my scheduled appointment time) for recalibration and it was the same experience. Appointment times were never honored and always there were others ahead of me. I went in one afternoon and having other appointments after, I told him that I had an appointment time. I was trying to also let him know that I wasn't a random walk-in and I was hoping he would put me ahead. He quickly became defensive and responded angerly, to which I responded angerly. The conversation escalated and in the end, he threatened to call the police on me, said I wasn't allowed back at the Fayetteville location, called his boss & said in front of me that I was one of the alcolock people and I always have an attitude. Most of our conversation was held while he was actively on the phone with his boss, so I hope there can be a more factual telling. If not, I hope the surveillance cameras are working and I'm asking you to please, please review them. The man is very unprofessional & inappropriate. He calls me "Love" instead of my name and I've asked him not to do that, as I am married. My last visit there he told me I would need to have an appointment set so that he could convert my "contract" from court ordered to voluntary. I chose to keep the breathalyzer for a year as I am in active recovery from alcohol and feel safe with it for now. He also said I would be charged a late fee, which I wasn't. I had rescheduled my appointment but I did it through a representative on the phone. He asked if I could come back the next morning at 9am so that he could discuss with his boss the proper steps to take. I agreed, reluctantly. The next morning I showed up at 8:50am & there were already 6 people waiting in line ahead of me. He was also late that morning and didn't show up until close to 9:30am. I did not bother going in because I already had anxiety about dealing with him again and I knew I would be waiting forever. I called and rescheduled the appointment for this past Monday in the Durham, NC location. This is an hour & 20 minute drive for me but honestly it's worth it. The gentlemen that ran that office had me in and out in less than 15 minutes. I couldn't believe it. He never said anything about late fees, said there was nothing but computer updates with DMV to switch me to voluntary & he gave me 2 free pens! I wasn't going to post a review about the Fayetteville office. But after the experience I had in Durham, which btw was a one employee office as well, I felt like I was obligated. My apologies for the length of this, its just been a lot. Thank you
