Tawana Rozier, with Monitech, helped me when I called yo make a reservation to get an Ignition Interlock System installed in my car. Tawana was very friendly and patient with me in explaining about all I needed to do. I appreciated all the information she gave me. She was very thoughtful and checked in with me yo make sure I understood all the details. I appreciated her information on her email that listed all the things I needed to before arriving, things I needed to bring with me, and things I will need to do after the installation appointment. She helped me with the do's and don't's that helped me to know more about the process after the installation. Twana was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable!

Hi tawana rozier when above and beyond to help me I've been with my device 4 yrs and she was the most helpful, pleasant,and anything she could look up to help more she did!!!, I never heard a rude tone in her voice like I was taking up her time which in my experience over half the time they just want to charge you and hang up!! She was very informative as well!! Outstanding!!! monitech needs more like her or you should put her how to train others because I felt judged most of time I called thanks tawana rozier!!

Every customer service agent that I spoke to were nice. However, this interlock system has caused me to be late for work, I’ve had to call out of work because I cannot start my car. There was no reason given. I have had to wait on hold before speaking with someone for over three hours. This company is ridiculous and will cost you in the long run. Soon as I get someone on the phone I am telling them to schedule an appt to take this device off my car and seeking another company to finish my last 5 months.

Vehicle battery problems are not usually related to the interlock device, although the timing of a battery problem can make it seem that way. All vehicles use some amount of battery when the car is shut off. For example, an onboard clock always shows the correct time because it is drawing battery current even when the vehicle is not in use. Aftermarket accessories add to the total battery load of the vehicle. An interlock is an aftermarket accessory and draws less than 5 milliamps of battery per hour. A battery more than 4 years old, a battery not used recently and/or used infrequently, in colder temperatures, or in situations when the vehicle's basic amp load is high may drain more quickly. If your alternator is not fully charging the battery when the vehicle is in use, battery problems can result. Check your vehicle user manual to determine how much amperage is being used on a baseline for your vehicle. Your authorized service provider will be able to test your battery and ensure it is capable of handling the total load. A Monitech agent has advised you how to correct this issue, please be sure to follow their instructions or the same thing will happen with another interlock device.

I was door dashing in huntersville and I live in Statesville 40 mins away and my device said unable to take test. Well I was on hold for 40 minutes. Then I was gave an override code didn’t work told me to unplug it for 5 mins plug it back in well didn’t work so they told me a tech would call me the next morning and they would meet me and see what the issue was. Well Nobody called so I called and they said ol it’d be after 5 and if they had several service calls to go to it may be the next day after 5. Luckily I have a daughter that could come and get me and take me to get the device from my car and take it to a shop in Charlotte. But what if this would’ve been in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere to a woman with kids and no one to call to come get them and not have money for an Uber or a motel to stay in. Something needs to be done before somebody ends up getting hurt. It’s giving me nothing but problems in the year I’ve had it. You would think after being in the business as long as they have this kind of thing wouldn’t happen. GET A CLUE FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!
