AVOID AT ALL COSTS (Otherwise, It Will Cost You...)
Undoubtedly the WORST experience I have encountered with any company, especially one purposed toward assisting students in studying. Considering all of the trials and tribulations I (along with many others) have experienced attempting to have transactions refunded, this company should be reported and labeled a SCAM. Communication channels with the company remain non-existent — nothing provided through their website and received zero responses via email (only an automated reply, hilariously enough). Would not necessarily be an issue if you could effectively cancel the subscription through their website, which is IMPOSSIBLE when clicking the option merely redirects you to the EXACT SAME PAGE. Provided below is a detailed account of my experience... Initiated the three-day trial period of Mindgrasp, hoping to utilize their services to study more effectively and efficiently. Although it proved somewhat valuable, the cost of an annual subscription seemed excessive; therefore, I attempted a cancellation the evening prior. Unfortunately, the following day was accompanied by a notification from PayPal regarding an authorized charge of $107.88 USD. This immediately prompted email communication with Mindgrasp, only to receive an automated response. Eventually, I decided to utilize the customer support and dispute features offered through PayPal to ideally refund the transaction. Seemingly making progress through this strategy; however, forcing customers into the most circuitous and complicated process of subscription cancellation and reimbursement is simply poor business practice.
