Diagnosed at an early age with depression and anxiety, I've tried what seems like every pill known to man and had years of therapy. At 42, after 11 ketamine treatments with Mindbloom, I am safely off all antidepressants and anxiety medication. I fell into alcoholism after my husband passed away and have been a heavy drinker for 11 years. I am now 30+ days sober! Mindbloom has helped me achieve my goals. I have overcome things I never imagined were possible! I do wish my insurance covered the medication, however it's worth twice the cost because it has saved my life.

Mindbloom and ketamine- game changers and sanity savers
I started Mindbloom about a month ago. Let me just start off by saying that I was at rock bottom and at a point where I just didn’t want to be around anyone. I got sick and tired of being sick and tired and needed something to change how I was living. I did some research and someone recommended psychedelics. I’ve always thought of psychedelics as something illegal and verboten. I knew about ketamine and my past experience administering it in the ED mainly to pediatric patients for urgent procedures. I decided to look into it further ABs read up on studies performed for anxiety and depression both of which I was primarily facing. I have always had these all my life to varying degrees and with some regularity every 2-3 yrs I would literally have a breakdown- either anxiety, depression, or a combo of both. My like has bed a regular hell where all I have been doing is treading water just to stay afloat and Somerset functioning but even that was not a very great job. Life was miserable and I could not see a reason to really continue. I read up on ketamine like I said, and heard that it has really positive outcomes. I looked at spravato, but your need to find somewhere that will take you for an appt not to mention once to do get in, your need to have someone drive you to and from appts that could be anywhere from 1-3x week. IV infusions are just as involved but need you to take off from work for each session and have someone done your not to mention this is almost never covered by insurance so the cost is high. Spravato may be covered by insurance at least. I read about multiple at home ketamine treatment sessions, and keep coming back to Mindbloom. They seemed to be priced well and have the best program on tend of what they offer to help you succeed. Your do have to pay out of pocket, but I think you can use FSA dollars if you ahead, and Mindbloom does split the payments so it’s a little easier to manage. All reviews for Mindbloom and other companies are all 50-50, so read thoroughly on each one and make an informed decision.
I was nervous and hesitant when I scheduled my consultation but it was well worth it in the end. I really did not know want to expect so I went into it with no expectations. Yes I was nervous but the clinician i picked Tyler, was awesome and put me at ease and walked me through the whole process. He even had some good suggestions for me to follow up on after the session.
I waited for my first dose of ketamine to come and scheduled my first session. Again did not know what to expect but the outcome was beyond my wildest imagination. The first session you meet with your guide who is your go to throughout all your sessions. My guide Ryn has also been an excellent resource and integral to my success in the program. On that note you can’t expect that the medicine is a magic pill or a quick fix for all your problems. You need to put in the work and effort to make this program work for you and in the end it’s worth it. Mindbloom has plenty of tools- from informative articles and videos, to 1:1 sessions with your guide.
From the first session my life has been totally changed ands transformed. I’ve read studies that say the effects of ketamine last anywhere from a few days to a few months. I’m not sure what exactly that means for me in the long term but I like to believe the change I have experienced is permanent! I do know this has worked better from day one than any antidepressant or anti-anxiety medication. It has worked better than years of therapy- this was like 10 years of therapy in 60 min. Again it’s not a cure all, but I feel like it takes everything you have ever learned for coping, and from therapy and amplifies it in a way that your mind/body can actually use. Until you experience it for yourself, you’re really can’t understand it and it’s hard to explain- it just works. Educate yourself on ketamine, talk to people who have done it, read reviews on Mindbloom and other companies that offer this. Make an informed decision. Don’t do this for anyone except yourself. You need to want to change, again the medicine doesn’t work unless you want it to and put in the effort. I’ve read reviews prior to starting Mindbloom, and the people who have negative reviews all felt like they wanted the pill to do everything without them actually doing anything. They talked about doing things Mindbloom specifically tells you’re not to do- what do you expect? It’s a prescribed medicine with specific instructions to follow. Not saying that some people may truly have had bad experiences or encountered not great staff- that happens anywhere you go- hospitals, doctors offices, retail stores.
If you are ready to change your life, this is a good way to start! I had nothing else to lose when I signed up and I’ll glad I did!

Stop Struggling with Depression and/or Anxiety
I have struggled all of my life because of undiagnosed ADHD- ASD. Because of severe trauma from my childhood, GAD and depression developed on top of it. I was able to function at a fairly high level until I came down with mastastic disease, the high dose chemo and an experimental drug caused brain damage in the temporal lobes. I had been unable to overcome the deep depression and GAD that set in again. I heard about Ketamine treatment, I tried it first at a physicians office. It helped, but it was cold with no support and very expensive. Mindbloom offers a lot of support. I can't believe how much I have improved over the course of my first six treatments.
This is very old medicine made new again!
They do need to improve their scheduling and computer support.

Powerful self growth tool
I was not sure what to expect from treatment and I was a little nervous…. What I found was an educated, caring staff of medical and guidance professionals who worked with me to make sure I had a safe, effective, supportive experience. Over the course of my initial 6 session treatment I made serious inroads on areas of personal growth and rearchitected some of my habits. I’m so much healthier because of this work!!! I was very impressed with the app as well. The guided sessions are perfectly timed and provide a beautiful soundscape for your journey. Abundant support from my personal guide and the larger community is also available. This is a seriously effective program for people who take it seriously and invest themselves. It’s not for recreation or diversion. But it is pleasant and relaxing. My anxiety is significantly reduced and I’m living a higher quality life as a result. I’ve gone on to sign up for an additional journey because I just so deeply appreciate what this is doing for me and for my relationships!

In a crowded field, Mindbloom stands out
Thus far, my experience with Mindbloom has been almost entirely positive. As anyone reading this review will know, ketamine is readily available legally in most states to those who could benefit from it and who possess the initiative to seek it out. A sufferer from depression, I’m one who has taken the medicine intravenously at a clinic. While that route of administration offers a couple of advantages, I have found Mindbloom’s approach quite preferable. To undergo this powerful and often unsettling experience in the safety of your own home, at a time convenient to you, while listening to music you have chosen—such advantages weigh powerfully in choosing between these alternatives. On top of such considerations are the myriad aspects of Mindbloom’s support structure. I was gratified to find the business end conducted efficiently and, even more important, the medical support staff caring and knowledgeable. As an aside, Mindbloom’s fees are not cheap, but compared to those charged by many alternatives, they must rate as quite a bargain. In summary, I have personally benefited from the work Mindbloom does and highly recommend its program.

Mindbloom
My Mindbloom experience has changed my life. I had come to a point in my life where I had enough little leftover pieces of dissatisfaction, fear, frustration stacked up and an overall dull sense of anger that had grown overtime. I knew I needed to do something to find my heart again if I wanted to live a full and thriving life. I had circular thoughts and a sense of uncertainty and I started to feel anxious and hyper self critical. Maybe even a little lost. This was a first for me and I wasn’t sure what to do. There had been a history of family stuff and not so healthy relationships but I knew from early in my life that talk therapy wasn’t my solution and my circle of friends weren’t enough to help me. I needed deeper soul work and better thinking habits.
I had tried every self help strategy that I knew of. In college I studied Neuroscience and graduated with a degree in Psychology. I had studied and always believed in the power of the mind as a way to heal and live free from negative thoughts and emotions. I began to look into psychedelic therapy and found Mindbloom. Through my experience with Mindbloom I’ve learned so much about intentions, trust, what I want my life to feel like, and being open to what I need to do and believe to get there. The resources are amazing, the support teams are talented, there are great conversations and a really positive community. I’m more clear about who I am and much more of a creator of my future than I’ve ever been. There’s plenty more work to do but I’m way happier and healthier than I’ve ever been. Energized, confident, and I have new habits that help me keep my thoughts positive and my physiology calm enough to use reason when I need it and to love myself and others deeply. The Mindbloom team is onto something fantastic to help change how people feel about life and how we can all help one another start a different conversation about healing. Retrain your thoughts with support from Mindbloom and take yourself to an entirely new level of possibilities for a life you love. Thank you Mindbloom.

I truly had the best experience with…
I truly had the best experience with Mindbloom and now recommend it to everyone!! I've been in and out of therapy for half my life with PTSD and depression, and nothing has made me feel as good as quickly at this at-home ketamine therapy. Not only is everyone super responsive behind the scenes, but everyone I encountered (my therapist and guide) were so kind and truly cared about helping me feel better. After my first treatment I immediately felt lighter. I assumed it would wear off and was just from the medicine still in my system, but it didn't! It's as if I've been planted back into the present moment and have been able to work through things I didn't even know were still affecting me. I know I'll continue to do treatments throughout my life when I feel necessary to maintain this state of awareness, calm, and joy in my life. So grateful to Mindbloom for making this therapy affordable and accessible to stay at home working moms like me!

Happy Mindbloom Client
I've been a Mindbloom client for about a year and found a lot of success after my first couple sessions. I love noticing the small and big changes like digging out of a deep depression and paying attention the the magical things that present themselves in daily life. My Mindbloom guide has been really amazing, and feels like a good friend with whom I can share my psychedelic experiences. I like how the app itself continues to evolve with more content and great audio options. My only critique is that I wish that the programs were much more affordable, as I've had to really stretch my budget to maintain access, and know that SO many more people could benefit from this therapy if the cost was less of an issue.
