Ketamine therapy has been incredibly positive for me and my anxiety. It’s not a panacea and it does require work, but if you’re willing to face your fear and inner demons, it really can help. Going into my first session, I had quite a bit of apprehension. I didn’t like the idea of altering my mind, and I was especially concerned that I’d have a scary experience or that I’d lose control. My fears were misplaced. It wasn’t exactly relaxing, but it did offer me an opportunity to examine my thoughts dispassionately and objectively. I realized that the source of my anxiety was all in my head, and that with a little work I could minimize it just by recognizing that I could refocus on calming thoughts. I’ve also learned perspective, and I now realize that the things that generally cause me anxiety are not as significant as I once believed them to be. I have now completed more than two dozen sessions, and while they haven’t all been easy, I have grown from each and every one. I can’t say what’s right for you, but I do know that anxiety and depression can get really bad, and at some point you have to ask yourself: what have I got to lose by trying?

From the interactions with the medical provider, meetings with the guide, to the accompanying audio materials, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the benefits I’ve received from Mindbloom. I was very skeptical about this treatment, but I have felt a difference in my mood and have noticed different thought patterns. I am looking forward to continuing treatment. I have found the group integrations to be helpful, I felt like it was a safe environment and I have been supported every step of the way with both my clinician and coach. I highly recommend especially if you have tried talk therapy, different medications, etc and nothing else has worked.
