Very poor customer service by the Milwaukee company. Very untrustworthy because i experienced nothing less than a big corporation bullying a powerless customer with valid concerns. Please read on for your protection. Bought an orbital polisher in August 2021 in Singapore from a dealer. Screw fell out of tool while using it for the first time. On checking, found another loose screw. Brought it to the distributor and service center (Chee Fatt Company Pte Ltd) who then found a 3rd screw loose. The dealer and distributor quickly claimed they could not assist further. Wrote to the Milwaukee rep based in Singapore (Mr Keith Lai, Commercial Manager) who flatly denied the possibility of loose screws. At same time, refused to acknowledge that my item was a lemon (a logical conclusion since he claimed a case like mine happening was near to impossible). I asked for an exchange but the Milwaukee rep tried to end the email exchanges without offering any corrective actions. When i stated that he would be held personally legally liable for any safety issues, he quickly placed the responsibility on his distributor, Chee Fatt Company, claiming that the service center would have certified any tool that goes through it's doors. This was a mistake as the service center did not inspect the tool. When I asked for a written statement from the service center (because it was not inspected but the Milwaukee rep asserted it was done), Milwaukee rep Mr Lai then came up with options to inspect and repair my item. The whole time the Milwaukee rep failed to perform his rightful duties of responding appropriately to valid customer issues, especially relating to safety concerns. He was negligent in assuming safety inspection was performed, and derelict in duty by trying to end the matter without offering any basic help. Wrote to Milwaukee Tools USA via the web form but no acknowledgement has been received. If this is the kind of service to be expected from Milwaukee Tools, it is very difficult to trust this company and brand.

Bought a cordless drill 6 months ago the chuck has broke already only used a handful of times at home, sent off for repair to be told the chuck is not covered on warranty which is a joke. Starting to wish i never bought all my tools from milwaukee as i was trying to them the same for batteries.

I bought a Milwaukee soldering iron from total tool in Sydney Australia It lasted two months You would think a replacement would be ok But NO I have to send it away for warranty I can understand 1 year of use but No I strongly don’t recommend buy or visiting the store And advised all my staff friends not to buy this product Now out of pocket need to buy a cheap scolding iron and wait who knows how long for my soldering iron that I purchase $289 to return

I bought a cordless drill from a reputable/approved supplier, and needed to get it registered, to do this you need to get an account. Then the system will not recognise the serial number I supplied. You try and explain that to their support service! All they kept doing was sending through the guide on how to register a product. What a performance. The customer support service is poor to say the least. You have to keep asking them to respond, and now not responding at all. I only want to register my product to get the warranty, does it really have to be that hard? Says a lot of a company if they are reluctant to support you on such a simple task. I will not be buying another of their products and will be advising my staff and work colleagues of the same. I should have looked on Trust Pilot first!!!!

I bought a really expensive Milwaukee M18 FPP6D2-503B FUEL 18V 5.0Ah Li-Ion RedLithium Cordless 6 Piece Kit recently. This year I've been off work unwell and didn't have the presence of mind to register my tools. When I remembered the 30 day registration limit I realised it had expired by a few days. I contacted Milwaukee by email and explained my situation; to my amazement they let me register my tools and even wished me a speedy recovery. I can't fault Milwaukee at all, although I haven't had to return anything yet, but that's a good thing isn't it?

I like Milwaukee Tools and own several, but customer service is terrible. I bought the M18 string trimmer and the handle busted when I was installing it. I have made several unsuccessful attempts to contact them. I don't even know why they have an email contact section on their website because I am pretty sure nobody reads it and if they do they don't bother to respond.

Over the last 3 years I’ve purchased a Milwaukee cordless greaser (failed after 3 months), a 3/4” impact gun (failed after 18 months), a m18 die grinder (started overheating after very light use) and a ‘m12 ratchet spinner and stubby 3/8” impact gun (both still working). All have been replaced or fixed under warranty but the quality of this stuff seems very poor. I have a dewalt 1/2” impact gun for 5 years that’s gotten the height of abuse but it still works. Really regret buying into the Milwaukee hype

Bought a kit , grinder,quarter drive impact wrench, half inch impact wrench, and a drill. All bought July 2021 half inch impact wrench gave up left it in for repairs 2 WEEKS ago still not fixed . What a pile of crap would never buy MILWAUKEE again. I wonder if I was 2 weeks out of guarantee would they fix it for free, not a chance. Don't waste your money buy something that will last you.
