So my husband got an oil change from here about a month ago and our car has been in the shop for about a week and a half. Why, you may ask? A mechanic from this location improperly installed an oil filter in our vehicle. Which caused the oil to leak out and our engine to seize. Now we are the lucky couple that gets to put a new engine on a car we’ve owned less than 7 months (we have 3 children all under the age of 3) and had no problems til we took it to this location.

Do not go to Midas Port Adelaide. I would give them no stars. I took my pride and joy here my Sv8. My father and grandfather worked at Holden's so i grew up in a car world. It went in for a new water pump and some other little minor jobs like the back window not going down. Minor stuff. But silly me let him keep my car for a few days over a long weekend. He told me he would get the jobs down around the other cars he had coming in. So under the impression was not going to cost a whole heap. As water pumps for Holden's are cheap. He kept telling me my car was great and don't get rid of it. its a good ride he kept saying. I said i know i'm the one that looks after it. Its my beast. So after the long weekend i waited all day for him to ring. I rang him at 4.30ish to find out when my ride was ready. The man which i won't mention his name said its not ready yet. This is five days later, I'm thinking somethings not right. So i ran him back and said i'm coming to get my car. When i arrived he was very nervous. Told me that my tail shaft rubber was worn and that its a whole piece and doesn't come apart so when due i would have to buy the whole shaft which is not cheap also my brakes were soft and needed doing soon that it also sounded like my injectors where worn. I told him there was nothing wrong with my injectors, tail shaft or my brakes. Brakes had only been done 6mths prior and that you shouldn't be touching any off that. it was in for a water pump. Why he was anywhere near the underneath off my car i don't know. Had to pay nearly $1700 dollars for the job. I got in my car noticed the seats and mirrors had been moved around. Drove off with a really bad noise coming out from my car. Drove straight down to a nearby mechanic and had to drop it in there as something was very wrong. He pulled my injectors apart and they were fine. He check my whole car out and found fresh hammered marks on my tail shaft that had caused it to separate a fair bit. Which we have video footage of this. So it was vibrating up and down when driving. It could have come apart at high speed he said. He said i was lucky that i know my car it could have been a very bad outcome for me if i dove like that. So a full week affair of mechanics. Finally got my car home only to notice that the odometer reader from one mechanic to the other was missing 700kms. Lovely Midas man drove my car on the long weekend and obviously went away or drove it to and from work for five days. I couldn't believe he had use 700kms on my car. That's grand theft auto he stole my car as you do not think the mechanic is going to joy ride in your Sv8. I'm really so disappointed with this man and company and do not recommend any body going there specially with V8's. I am a woman and i assume he thought i was stupid. Shame on you Midas.

Afgekeurd op de keuring wegens doorgebroken remleiding. Offerte opgemaakt bij midas: 813 euro. Voor een auto die 20 jaar oud is vonden wij dit heel veel. Uiteindelijk auto ZELF GEMAAKT + ONDERDELEN voor 67 euro. Auto rijdt perfect nu! Oplichters tot en met!!!

In no way was anyone rude to me while getting my service done, but I dropped my car off to get the front breaks done. They broke my brake line, and refused to fix it. I drove the car in with 0 leaking, and drove off the lot with literal drops of fluid coming down the brake line.. They Admitted that it broke while under their supervision. They Claimed they broke it while on a routine test drive and because it that it's not their responsibility. I can't believe they thought they were doing me a favor by telling me they broke my car, and told me it needs $2000 of service when I came in for $390 worth of work.

The stores in Austin Texas are a bunch of raceis s.o.b.s. They finished my car by putt ing trans fluid in my engine, went in for a oil change, and didn't hide it either cause the same filter was still on there.was calling a bigger and told to leave the shop. They are still here, is guess by the grace of God, cause they should be pushing up daisies. There headquarters did nothing.

I had a noisy car on Tuesday and Midas Brantford helped me out I out by fixing my car on the spot and letting me pay them on Friday when I get paid, and the problem was not as bad as I had thought it to be.Thank you Chris for helping me it shows there are good honest shops out there still not to mention Midas showing trust in people. THANK YOU MIDAS

After posting a review earlier about a bad experience I had in Ballwin Missouri I must give Tom from corporate 5 stars he helped me out an fixed my issue I really appreciate this. I will definitely stick with Midas after this experience!! Thanks Tom!!
