I came in for an oil change and oil pan gasket replacement and was charged $350 labor for a minor fix. They are price gouging customers, Terrible experience !!!

Llevé mi coche al taller Midas hace casi un mes y todavía sigo esperando. No me han dado una solución clara ni me han avisado de los plazos. La falta de comunicación y seriedad es total. No lo recomiendo si buscas un servicio rápido y profesional.

Vorige week auto op onderhoud midas sint-niklaas kreeg een telefoon van midas dat de remschijven en remblokken versleten waren op 27000km ,vond dit nogal snel .ze zeiden mij ook dat de ruitenwissers aan vervanging toe waren maar heb gezegd dat dit niet nodig was .ik zei doe dan maar alleen de remschijven en blokjes .24/7 dus 1week na het onderhoud moest ik naar de autocontrole blijkt dat de ruitenwissers niet versleten waren ,nu heb ik toch mijn twijfels of de remschijven en blokjes ook wel degelijk versleten waren .vorig jaar heb ik daar mjn airco laten maken ,ze hadden toen stukken vervangen en nog geen jaar nadien was de airco al stuk .de knecht zei daar dat hij niet wist of dit garantie zou zijn moest hij vragen aan zijn baas ?? Uiteindelijk heb ik het niet meer laten maken omdat een week erna mijn nieuwe auto werd geleverd .heb mijn twijfels of ik wel nog terug ga naar midas voel mij genaaid .

I went into Midas Irving TX because I am used to going to Midas for my repairs in South Carolina. I trusted the mechanics to install a part that purchased, an EGR valve. When I got home I noticed that the car was hot and the mechanic in my complex offered to look at it. He noticed that the PCV Valve tubing was detached from the air intake hose. I informed Midas of the finding and Justin said "No problem, just bring it in and we will reattach it." When I arrived, Justin said the tubing would not stay on and gave the impression that this was a preexisting condition of the vehicle and would need to open a new service order to replace the tubing. Upon looking for the part, he said it would need to be ordered from the dealer because he couldn't find it. I'm appalled at the arrogance of this repair shop to assume I should pay for the problem that stemmed from the replacement of the EGR valve. Justin and the front desk clerk teamed up to assure me that the tubing or air intake hose did not need to be removed to replace the valve. This is very negligent on their part to make such a claim when there is so much evidence of the tampering of the tubing that all of a sudden keep "popping out."

I called in the morning. He said bring it down and he'll get it done today. Dropped the Mustang off 10:30. Told him the silver ring the holds the ignition barrel broke off and the barrel comes out with the key. Which all you need to steal it is slide the barrel out and start it with anything. Called 3:30 and there's 3 ahead of me which he didn't tell me on the phone. So now my car might stay over night which i do not want bc what i just mentioned. I asked if he has a bull pin they keep cars safe. NO, the cars say in the parking lot.no security. I told him there's like $6,000 in stereo equipment in my car along with the ignitionthing thing. That I'll come and get it if they couldn't get to it. Said he'll call to let me know. No call, no answer there closed and they have the only key. (Not going to break into my car) Everybody knows my car. They've heard it. So now it's sitting in the parking lot for the taking. I know they won't pay a dime if it gets stolen.

On January 5th had tires put on my car.when I got to Midas in Carmel on Friday to have my tires put on I was told they did not have me scheduled.I had talked to Steve the manager the day before.He said he would put me on the schedule for 1pm on Friday.They went ahead and did my service.Did a great job.while I was waiting I Scheduled a oil change on my other car for the following Thursday.I told I believe the gentlemens name was Ed to make sure me I was on the Schedule for my oil change because of the mix up on the scheduling of having my tires put on.He assured me I was on the schedule the following Thursday.So I show up today January the 11th at 830 to get my oil change.I was told by Steve the manger I was not on the schedule until the 18th.I told him I was assured I was on the schedule he replied I can get you but it will be awhile and I would have to wait to But I already had a another appointment scheduled for something else so I couldn't wait.I am very disappointed because I had to get my oil changed because I was getting ready to go on a trip.I really trusted Midas and Steve and Ed in Carmel.I have gone to them several times in the past.I feel like they should have been able to get me right in.They sure were able to worked me in the Friday before when I spent almost $800 but now I was only going to spend ,$50 I was going to sit and wait.I guess I am really upset because I thought I had found a place that cared and I trusted.Dont mean to complain but my time is valuable to.Plus it cost me $. To take off from my work

Midas Hove.. gebeld om afspraak te maken. Afgesproken om op 28/12 de auto binnen te brengen en hersteld op te halen op vrijdag 29/12. Bevestigd via mail. Helaas hadden ze ondertussen zoveel andere afspraken ingepland, dat ik er op vrijdag niet meer tussen kon en ze me gewoon naar huis stuurden toen ik er donderdag stond. Offerte blijkt ook zomaar 110 euro duurder te zijn dan bij een erkende garage. Aan mij hebben ze dus geen nieuwe klant binnengehaald, wat een slechte service!

I went to this location for my car as this location was tied with Costco for 15% discount on parts and labour. When they started working on my car, they gave me an estimate of about $1200 and confirmed that they will apply 15% discount on the overall amount. Note that maximum discount that can be availed with Costco is $500. After the work was completed, I was surprised to know that discount was not applied completely. Instead, just $100 was deducted. I have complained to Costco and asked them to remove their name from the network as they are cheating with their customers. I still need to see if they have done a good job with the car or not. Since service was done just today on 6-Feb-2023, I am yet to see its performance. Hopefully, they have done a good job.
