I bought a wyze security camera from microcenter on their advice. I have been robbed twice the camera did not pick anything up as it ses it can be hacked from outside. Don't try to talk to wyze as they will have you on hold for an hour and hang up. Try to talk to microcenter and wait hours for an associate. Try to find their phone... good luck. 303 302 8500 in Denver the city without a soul PS: they know neither the NY Times or CNN will review wyze they are so bad

Microcenter is selling their own refurbished Bambu P1S printers, but when Microcenter does the refurb they keep all the accessories including things that are required for the printer to run, like the power cord. No accessories from Bambu provided, and the printer is useless without the power cord.

Predatory warranty offerings. I bought a $5000 custom build from them, constantly had issues and eventually got to the point where they believed I was the problem. They used their “warranty” to refund me only for the base price of my pc less tax and then I bought a laptop for which I had to buy another warranty to ensure my device. The screen broke on my laptop within 2 months, took it in for repair. When I picked up my laptop they spent a good amount of time explaining to me all the various checks and quality controls they used to ensure my laptop was 100%it all sounded amazing. I get home plug in the newly repaired laptop and it instantly overheated and crashed, turns out they broke the cooling system and couldn’t fix it. After a lot of arguing and speaking with someone in corporate they did refund me the laptop price plus tax and their worthless warranty but with the caveat that I no longer purchase computers from them bc I was “costing the company money.” While I will say the employees are kind and will work hard to meet your expectations the general attitude toward customers is abysmal.

Review is about the repair service only. The store is fine. As I was driving away after dropping off my PC for repair, I got a message "hello this is micro center, the unit has bugs in it so we cannot work on it, you may pick up". They had double bagged in plastic, so I could not verify. The guy at the counter was a minimalist type, not a talker. Reaching home, I found no bugs. No idea what the problem was. Likely, end of day and wanted to take off or something. In the past the counter was a hive of activity. Yesterday it appeared dead, the sign on at arrival terminal was frozen.

They sold me a protection plan for the laptop I purchased specifically saying that should my laptop break for any reason, I could come in and get it replaced. Well, it broke. When I took in to get replaced, suddenly it's a repair plan and I have to leave it for weeks to be repaired, and if they cant repair it, THEN they will give me a card for store credit so I can buy a new laptop. Thats not ok. What if I can only afford to get a lesser laptop due to pricing or inventroy availability? What am I supposed to do about my remote work that requires me to have a laptop to work? There was so much wrong about the interaction, including a manager telling me how the item was sold to me when he wasn't there, and doesnt actually know what was said at all. Yet he felt confident telling ME what happened, as if he sold me the protection plan himself. The arrogance and disrespect was too much. I left my laptop to be repaired, they OWE me that much, but I will never shop there again for as long as I live. I tried hard to support a physical location but now, quite frankly, I don't care if the entire company goes belly up.

Sadly, I thought I found my favorite computer store but the person who is supposed to fix my PC spoke to me with attitude as if I work for him. He told me either wait 5 to 9 days or go pick up the piece from Brooklyn. I told him I would order it from Amazon and have it drop off tomorrow. He told me to cancel my order After three days waiting and paying my transportation, I ended up picking it up. The person who contacted me didn’t want to give his name. Apparently, somebody was going to call the cops on them last week so it’s not the first time they show poor customer service.

Gave them a PC, they said it needed a new psu, it came back with a dead 8tb segate barracuda drive which worked perfectly before being given to them. With new psu installed computer keeps blue screening. Good store, sh!tty service center.

went in to get my laptop screen reconnected, as it had come off when i dropped the laptop. i told them this, and that it didnt need hardware repair i just didn't trust myself to put it back myself. they "took it to the back" and then came back and told me they actually needed to order a part to repair it, and that it would be done in a week. three weeks pass, I call them to ask whats going on, they put me on hold to pull it out of the queue and check and then tell me theyre still waiting on the part to come in. fifteen minutes later they called to say that actually, turns out the screen just needed to be reconnected so i could come pick it up. I was still charged full repair cost 💀 screw these guys
