Hello Felicia, I am sincerely sorry to hear that the service and communication you have experienced in your recent order was not satisfactory - I have had the pleasure of working with you personally on your custom band and apologize if the lack of communication was in any part due to me being out of the office yesterday. It was not mine or any other employee's intention to make you feel unheard or ignored in any way. Regarding this order, our apologies for the early/unscheduled UPS pick up from our Portland office that caused your ring not to go out as planned on Friday, 8/18, for the scheduled delivery date of Tuesday 8/22. Because of this we complimentary upgraded you to overnight shipping on Monday 8/21 in order to keep the scheduled delivery date of 8/22 and emailed you the tracking number as well as left a voicemail to confirm the ship date. We also included a complimentary return shipping label in case you received the ring and were not satisfied with it, despite it being a fully custom wedding band and being non-returnable. To be honest, we are not sure what actions we have taken to be accused of being unethical - we covered all the costs associated because the ring did not ship on the original date, offered a full refund on a non-returnable ring if you were not happy, and provided a pre-paid shipping label so you would not be out any funds on return shipping. I cannot think of anything else we could have done more ethically in this situation. We are still happy to accept the ring back for return should you choose to return this to us and our apologies again that you had such a bad purchasing experience with us. Hello Derrick, I am sorry to hear that you are not 100% satisfied with the optical properties of your stone - if you are able to send the ring back in to us we would be happy to evaluate for exchange on the center stone to be sure you receive something that meets our beauty and quality standards. Regarding the cleaning, because of their naturally smooth surface and slick facets, diamonds attract dust, air particles, oil from fingerprints, soap, lotion, perfumes, hair sprays, etc. These particles are drawn to the stone and cling to it. The entire outer surface of the Diamond Hybrid® is made from lab created diamond, so it attracts particles just like a lab created or mined diamond would. We recommend cleaning with your MiaDonna cleaner or dish soap no less than once a week to keep debris from building up and hindering the life, light, and sparkle of your stone. We make the set to be an exact match which is why the earrings and pendant are the same size, but we are happy to show you larger pendant options should this be something you are interested in!
