***Diamond Hybrid buyers BEWARE!!!!*** Let me start by saying this- I did my research! And, even after asking every possible question, watching countless videos, IG pics and reading reviews, did I find that the diamond hybrid is NOT a good diamond alternative for the money. NOT AT ALL! It’s so incredibly soft, many jewelers I met with after my purchase compared it to a lab created white sapphire aka “cruise jewelry” due to its near identical look and hardness. Funny thing is that these stones are like $100-200 and are typically set in silver. Super cheap. After only having my ring for less than 3 weeks, did I notice a chip, which is why I ended up in a jewelry store to look under the scope. While under the scope, another thing was made known to me and questioned by the jeweler- the stone on my oval 2.5 ct was cut like a gemstone, not a diamond, and certainly not brilliant cut!!! Hence, why the stone lacked the brilliance I expected from what is skillfully advertised as a stone grown from a partial of a diamond. Being that I was still within the 30 day return, I did just that. HOWEVER, because I removed the tags, promptly after unboxing the ring, the return policy was null and void. Wow! Thankfully MiaDonna agreed to refund the stone after I threw a fit and it was clear that the stone chipped far too soon. This was much appreciated. Please note that if you buy from this company, DO NOT REMOVE THE TAGS!!! RECOMMENDATION: Buy a crushed ice or diamond cut moissanite for the same money or plunk down the cash and shop around for a quality lab created diamond. There are soooo many options out there.

The diamond hybrid has excellent quality and I wear my engagement ring proudly, knowing that my husband and I were able to support a good cause. We also bought my wedding band (encrusted with recycled natural diamonds) and my wedding earrings from Miadonna. Customer service was 100% helpful and patient with all my questions - I took a long time deciding which wedding band and jewelry to get.

I have never purchased LGDs before and was skeptical. For me, I couldn't be happier with the quality, price, and experience. Rewind, quality really has to be shouted out here. The diamonds are flawless and sparkle wonderfully. I remounted the earrings I got for my GF to screw backs and the jeweler (a close friend) was impressed by value I'd gotten. Will buy again, and again, and then yet again. TLDR; Guys treat your girls like the princess they are and still protect the wallet - shop at Miadonna. **EDIT 3.11.2019** I have received my second LGD purchase for my girlfriend, and I continue to be impressed by MiaDonna.

Mounting fell apart and the lab "diamond" looked horrible. How embarrassing when I took it to a jewelry store to have the mounting replaced and they tell me it's not a real diamond

Purchased my wedding ring a month ago. Miadonna’s website states to allow seven to business days for the ring to be finished being made and an additional one or two days for shipping and handling. It’s been 19 business days, Every time I’ve reached out to support, I receive a false promise that it will be finished in either a couple days or that it will be recieved by me “tomorrow”. It took days for them to finally respond to my email asking about the status of my order. I have no idea why it’s taken so long, they have offered no explanations. My wedding ring has already been two weeks late. At this point, I don’t think I even want it anymore. When I see it, all I will remember and think about is how frustrating this whole situation has been. I’m most likely going to search for a new wedding ring. What a disappointment and waste of money.

I bought an engagement ring for my fiancee on MiaDonna's website. The ring was beautiful, and the wealth of information available on their site led me to what I thought was a reasonably-priced ethical option, and taught me much of what I wanted to know about choosing jewelry. On top of that, their mission and cause was moving and ethics was a major factor in the decision. Now for the downside: Their patented Diamond Hybrid simulant is extremely fragile and a poor excuse for a stone. We ended up needing to resize my fiancee's ring twice, and when it was returned to us the stone was loose. I brought it to a local jeweler, who confirmed with a magnifier that not only was it loose, but was loose because the girdle of the stone had been chipped - a part of the stone only exposed during professional repair. Since I had only allowed MiaDonna to handle it per their warranty, the fault lies with them. My fiancee had not even had a chance to wear the ring, a month and a half after the proposal! When I notified MiaDonna of this development, and that I wished to have a refund for the stone, I was told I could only have a replacement and would have to ship it back to them again (for evaluation and re-setting). I was also informed that technically speaking, the chips were not covered by their warranty because they were only visible under magnification - even though their self-inflicted damage was the reason for it being loose! We ended up replacing my fiancee's stone with another from the local jeweler, rather than trust a clearly subpar simulant and a company that hides behind the fine print of their warranty. Perhaps had I sprung for a pure lab-grown diamond, its durability would have prevented any damage to begin with. But spending within my budget should not mean that I have to suffer through endless returns and repairs, at cost to me. Especially when their warrantied repairs were the reason for the damage. In summary, it's a real shame that a company started for such ethical reasons cannot service its customers well. I wanted to like MiaDonna, but the Diamond Hybrid is easy to chip and their repairs are time-consuming and risky. MiaDonna could have avoided this review simply by refunding the cost of the stone as I requested.

Buyer beware!!!! Read all warranty info because they don’t tell you. Don’t assume that your loose hybrid is covered unless they set it for you!!!! My husband bought me a loose 1.25 ct hybrid to put replace my lost diamond based on my recommendation. I have had it 6 months and it looks terrible - but it’s not covered under the lifetime guarantee just the “complementary iinsurance”. I would have to pay $240 plus shipping and setting fees after already paying $470 (not to mention the $150 I paid a jeweler to have the stone set) I am so disappointed that I didn’t read the warranty throughly! I purchased the hybrid thinking it would be a good and cheaper alternative to a real diamond but what a total waste of money!!!!! Please reconsider before choosing a MiaDonna hybrid, especially if you live out of state like I do! Save for the real thing so you won’t be disappointed!!
