Metro PC has all these promises of wonderful prices and discounts but in reality it is a trap. Once you get in, customer service starts charging you for things you didn't request, making changes on your account, giving you wrong information every time you call and never being accountable for misleading her customers to get them in. Then if you go to the store they tell you "they only sell items" and are not responsible for the service. If you get a good manager, he might be generous and help you. Every time you call someone different answers and they contradict the previous employee. They say they 'are reading the previous employees notes" and you get a big surprise. When I said that I can't prove I didn't request that but "everything is recorded' they start changing their lies. They lie and they are dishonest. Onetime I overpaid and wanted to use the credit for the next month but first they "couldn't find it" then it was much less than the correct amount even when I had the confirmation number to prove it so I fought it. Read the reviews and do not get in because it is too expensive to get out, that is how they make money.

I don't recommend this company at all. I had 2 cell phones and 2 tablets connected with this company for years and I wasn't even informed if I port out my cell phones I can't have only my tablets there I need a cell phone line with them they now tell me but they didn't tell me that a few weeks ago when I was porting out my cell from there and the rep on the phone knew I still had my 2 tablets there connected so I thought and I paid $81.67 a few weeks ago and they won't give me back my money there excuse is there a prepaid company and they can't even though I didn't use this month they won't give it back there such a bad company never again with them and I'm getting every one I know to switch also. They should not be like that to there long time customers. So shop else where and don't recommend at all and there signal isn't the best either..

They have over-charged me for the past several months. I looked on my account on the app. They have 2 internet home lines. I have called several times. Each time I was informed they would take care of it, and each month. My bill goes higher . They are either a bunch of idiots or criminals Next month Im going to another provider Save yourself the headache and don't go with them in any shape or form.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I have been a Metro by T-Mobile customer for about a year and my experience has been one issue after another. I started with two lines and now I am now down to one, yet my bill has increased and I'm paying more now than I paid when I had multiple lines. The service is unreliable. I regularly miss calls, experience poor connectivity, and have ongoing issues with GPS and data services plus customer support is worse. There have been times when my phone would provide directions to a destination but fail to provide directions back home (DANGEROUS and they are aware and did nothing). I've also experienced situations where important calls were interrupted due to service and device issues (they are aware and did nothing). One of the most frustrating incidents involved a phone that suddenly went completely black in the middle of an important conversation. The device was fully charged, had not been dropped, and Metro was unable to provide an explanation for what happened amd stated in order to receive a new phone I would have to pay for one. This was supposed to be a new phone. I've had total of 4 phones that were ALL crappy!!!! My son and I origial phones also experienced major issues shortly after purchase. Within days, the screen would freeze and become completely unresponsive, often at the worst possible times. When I contacted the store that I paid for them from, they stated I had to pay for 2 new phones but the 2 new phones acting up were 3 days old. Customer service has been equally disappointing. I've spent countless hours on the phone, including a recent call that lasted over an hour with no resolution. I was repeatedly placed on hold while waiting for a supervisor, only to be told very little and ultimately directed to complete a survey instead of receiving actual assistance and I never received an answer as to where is my refund! Over the past year, multiple tickets have been created regarding my concerns. I have been promised callbacks and follow-ups that never happened. I was also promised a refund that I have yet to receive (today is the 7th business day). To make matters worse, I discovered that an address was placed on my account that does not belong to me. It is located in another Florida city where I have never lived or even visited. Despite bringing this to their attention, I have struggled to get clear answers. I understand that no company is perfect but customers deserve honest communication, reliable service, and follow-through when problems are reported. Unfortunately, my experience with Metro by T-Mobile has been the exact opposite. After a year of ongoing issues, unresolved tickets, broken promises, and poor customer support, I cannot recommend this service.

Very very disrespectful people. They lie and then get an attitude when you challenge them. I will be transferring my service else where

I've been with metropcs since 2016 service was great until I had to get a new phone. I had amazon prime and Google one included and my phone died went to get another one should have have had a free upgrade with the qualifying phone and instead of just putting the phone on my current plan with the same number they created a new account. I asked if it was going to affect my Amazon prime and Google one and I was told no it wouldn't. Next thing I know I'm getting an email saying my prime and Google one were canceled. I called them and now I have to pay more for what I already had in order to keep my prime and I had to pay for my google one. I'm beyond furious really since I specifically asked about that and was told it willbe the same. Do better metropcs. At the price I'm paying I can go with a different carrier and pay separately and it will be cheaper than metropcs. Will be separating from you soon

MetroPCS is, without a doubt, the worst phone service company I have ever dealt with in my entire life as a phone consumer. The customer service has been absolutely terrible, and the way this situation has been handled is completely unacceptable. On August 22, 2026, my son and I went to pay his MetroPCS phone bill. His service had been off for approximately two months because he had been gone for the summer, and we did not realize that MetroPCS would recycle his phone number after that period of time. We simply assumed that once we paid the bill, his service would be restored. We paid $30, only to discover that the service did not reconnect because the number had already been recycled. We immediately called MetroPCS. The first representative we spoke with told us that she was going to open a new account for my son, provide him with a new phone number, and submit a ticket to have the $30 payment refunded from the old account so it could be applied to the new account. She gave us a new number and specifically told us to call back in a couple of days because the ticket needed time to be processed. So that’s exactly what we did. When we called back, the next representative told us something completely different. We were told that MetroPCS could not refund the money and that we needed to contact our bank and have the payment reversed. We contacted the bank, and the bank told us that because the transaction appeared to be a legitimate purchase, they could not simply reverse it. They told us we needed something from MetroPCS authorizing or confirming that the payment should be reversed. We called MetroPCS back, provided the confirmation number, card information, and all the other information they requested, only to be told they couldn’t help us. At that point, I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor told me that a ticket would be submitted and the issue would be resolved, and again, we were instructed to call back after a couple of days. We kept calling. Each time, we were given a different answer. At one point, representatives were hanging up on us. Others were rude, dismissive, and acted as though our concerns were an inconvenience. Another representative eventually gave us yet another confirmation number and assured us that the issue was documented and would be tracked. We did everything we were told to do. We called when they told us to call. We provided the information they requested. We contacted our bank. We spoke with supervisors. We followed up repeatedly. And after all of that, we have now been told that MetroPCS has no intention of refunding our $30. It’s not even about the $30 anymore. It’s about the principle, the dishonesty, the lack of accountability, and the absolutely horrible customer service. If the first representative gave us incorrect information, that’s one thing. But when multiple representatives and supervisors continue giving customers different answers, creating tickets, providing confirmation numbers, telling customers to call back, and then ultimately doing nothing that is unacceptable. And what makes it worse is that I asked to escalate the situation further and was told that MetroPCS doesn’t have a corporate department because they did away with it. If that’s truly the case, then who is accountable when customers have legitimate unresolved complaints? This entire experience has been a complete shit show from beginning to end. I have never experienced customer service this bad from a phone company. I would strongly encourage anyone considering MetroPCS to think twice before giving this company your money. A company can make a mistake, but what matters is how they handle that mistake. MetroPCS had multiple opportunities to make this right, and instead, we were passed from representative to representative, given conflicting information, and ultimately left with nothing. And yes, I am also extremely frustrated with the growing practice of companies outsourcing customer service overseas while cutting jobs here in the United States. My issue isn’t with individual workers based on where they live it’s with companies creating customer-service systems where there appears to be little accountability and customers are left feeling ignored and powerless. MetroPCS: You kept our $30, wasted hours of our time, gave us conflicting information, and provided absolutely no meaningful resolution. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a wireless provider. Do better.
