You can't sue them, and you agree not to file a class action lawsuits and based on the comments, too many people complaining. It's in the contract. All you can do is file complaints with the fcc. That's a joke,but only solution. After reading the terms and conditions, Metro has outsource customer service to south east Asia. I never really had a problem with them until recently when I needed to change my phone. Usually I buy my own phone but this time I went into the store. What they don't tell you is that MetroPCS has hired third party vendors. It's a repeat of TMobile which owns Metro. This is happening all over the states where these companies are ripping customers off and all we do is complain on sites such as these. Instead file a complaint with the fcc.

I have an unlimited data plan, but get throttled after only using 21.4gb of data. Got a text stating I have used over 35gb which is not true. Now my phone only has a 4g connection and I can't even get online or use any apps including the MyMetro app. Then when I connect to Wi-Fi I can't authenticate my account on app because you have to be connected to the mobile network. So how is this unlimited data when I can't use my phone to get online or use my apps. I wish T-Mobile never bought up metro. I really believe they do this to try and force you to move to T-Mobile all together.

These guys are a joke. If you call customer service they just run you in circles. I've had service outages for weeks sometimes in an area thats supposed to be the best service. No compensation after I spent $300 in gas just trying to report a tower down just to have them reset my phone for some reason erase everything just to drive back to my house just to drive back to an area getting reception just to reset something else even though my phone was working just fine... 20 miles from my house. .. then I call to be compensated and they change my plan all together and try and tell me the gave me a credit only to find out the just dropped my plan to the lowest they could to make it look like they compensated me... and then... I call back to ask how to unlock my wifi box becauseat this point im done and want to changecarriers. 1st person told me can't until after 90 days (I know this is a lie, I call back. 2nd nope can't until 120 days. Another lie... 3rd person nope "you can't unlock it that box is ours".. even though I payed for it!!... jokes on you I already know how to unlock the damn thing anytime want.. their are instructions all over if you look them up, you can do it anytime you boughtthat deviceand they cant force you to use it only on their network. Shame on this company for manipulating and flat out lying to their customers.

As an existing Metro customer, Dec. 22, I decided to take advantage of their "One month free" Home Internet promo. Upon activation, I was immediately charged an $11 pro-rated Home Internet fee for the first month. I waited 6 days (Dec 28-Jan 27) for my regular bill-cycle to see if my "free month" would be applied but sure enough, I was billed $55 for Home Internet. I then called (6 times) and spoke to 6 Agents and 2 Supervisors who ultimately told me that I "received my free month " because you don't have to pay until Jan 27. That's your February bill". I was flabbergasted at their lack of their own billing practices....and to be honest, their stupidity. After getting tired of hearing that I somehow received a free month of Home Internet within 8 days of activating service, on Dec 28, I CANCELLED my Metro Home Internet and will migrate my cell-service to another carrier. Note: I have had payment issues with Metro before and this is why I never click their auto-pay feature. Important Note: One Agent was very disrespectful and when I told her that "we were "done talking, "I'll just wait for the survey"...she disconnected the call !

I've been with Metro for about 4 or 5 years now but in the last year, the service has gone down the drain. I'll lose service completely for sometimes a few minutes or a couple of hours. No warning no credit nothing. Now, I keep getting an error when I try to sign into my account that says "This page isn't working. *insert metros website link* took too long to respond HTTP ERROR 504" I've seen this too many times now and when I finally do get to log in (nothing past that) chatting with customer service rep tells me it my phone NOT the website! I'm completely fed up with Metro! Problems NEVER get resolved and I still have to pay the full bill every month!! 🤬 Do Better Metro!

Their website couldn't have been a worse experience... It's impossible to do anything on their website, and every single time you attempt anything they'll tell you to go to a store, where they'll cause you further problems...

Literally the WORST service EVER!!!!!! I have NEVER been this unhappy with a service provider! I have called 611 5times today and nothing is resolved! It is like they have ZERO CLUE what they are doing! I lady laughed the whole time too! I am beyond frustrated!!!! I have HATED Metro since day 1!!!!! Male customer service reps are huge pervs too!
