Merrell made the best pair of shoes i have ever owned. The Men’s-hommes slip ons (cloudy). You could wear them with khakis and a nice shirt to work, or with jeans and a T-shirt goofing around, or with shorts on a typical hot summer day. I mean they were crazy versatile. My problem with Merrell, they quit making the shoes. I just wish I had seen this coming. I only have the one pair. I have tried the Merrell shoes similar to my current pair but they are all lacking. I would have likely bought a couple of pairs (different colors) every year for the foreseeable future. Now I am off looking for a replacement. Sadly the new Merrell’s don’t have the versatility of the pair I described above. No idea how to star rate my love of the shoes combined with the disappointment of the company’s decision. So....three stars.

Customer service exists and can be found alive and well at Merrell. Big thank you to Cathrine, Stefania & Rossella for helping to restore my faith in human nature and into the bargain ' Merrell' Like wearing slippers the boots are very snug and comfy. Given the reassurance I received when I had an issue with a pair of boots and how this was quickly resolved - Merrell have me as a customer and that's largely down to how customer service performed .. Realized that I made a mistake when I placed an order for shoes. Called customer service and they tell me that I can not change my order and I have to wait for the boots to arrive and then return them. People are nice and the shoes are quality but if you can't cancel your order within 30 minutes of buying I will no longer support your product.

Received my shoes just after Christmas and I purchased a size 8. My feet slipped out of them straight away and the elastic cut into my feet on top of the shoes. I could tell the quality was definately not how Merrell shoes used to be yet they are the same price. They are made in China now and are no where near as good. I sent them back (beware you have to pay for a rural delivery at your own cost). A week later and no communication after three emails, I received my money back. Wouldn't recommend Merrells anymore and not this company either.

Just ordered a new sandal for summer from Merrell again and they did not disappoint. The quality is great, the delivery was quick and efficient no issues at all. I don’t understand why people complaining about the price, I don’t think Merrell’s expensive at all. Either way, great service, me happy as usual.

Disappointed. Comfortable and waterproof at the beginning. wet and falling apart after 6 months of heavy use.

Merrell just gave me excellent customer service. I notified them about a material defect. They replaced the shoes (which were several years old). I did have to submit photos, etc. All in all, the process took 5 weeks from my initial contact to Merrell to receiving replacement foot gear today. Thank you, Merrell, for honoring your commitment.

Moab 2 :Boots are comfortable but did not live up at all to the waterproof claim. Ok decided to try again since I go thru boots fairly quickly. Caught a good sale plus 20% off. Ordered no problem....about a week and a half goes by...no boots decided to look at my acct..says not shipped..ok whatever...I went on vacation 2 days later...came back 7 days later..I was expecting to see a package..nothing...checked my emails...nothing...went online and see it still said not shipped. So I call....they tell me ..oh sorry we did not have your size. What were they going to do never call me to let me know and just hold my $...they offer a 20% off discount. Yea gr8 thanks can google that. I chalk it up. It is what it is stuff happens. About a month later I see another sale plus a coupon code. Ok I'll try again. Ordered..wrong size came. I call and ask to get an exchange. Ok they send me a rma and told me to ship back. About 5 days later I ship back. I call about a week later for an update because of course no emails to keep me posted. They said they haven't got the package yet and they should get by the end of the week. Next week..still nothing ..next week i look and it says my order is canceled. No explanation nothing. Call up and get the run around saying they received the boots back after the 21 day limit. Meanwhile it wasn't even 21 days. Refund can take up to 48 hrs....but only after I called. Seems they are ok with just holding your $ untill you call. Never again. Boots are ok ..but the company sucks.
