MerrellReviews of merrell.com

I have been using Merrell boots for years and never had any issues. Never need breaking in. Very comfortable and keep your feet dry. Can't understand all the negative views on here. Use them for mountain hiking and long distant walking. Highly recomend them. Hundreds of miles of wear.

Be absolutely sure before buying anything on sale from their outlet stores. No returns even though it says 30 days on the receipt. Customer service …. forget it, non existent.

I had a pair of Merrill hiking boots which I purchased a number of years ago. After shelving them for a few years I put them on and the soles completely detached from the boot. I contacted Merrill and sent photos. They immediately dealt with the issue and in spite of the age of the boots they sent me a new pair. This is fantastic post-sales service, second to none. Thank you Merrell Canada.

Just bought these shoes and wore them for 4 days and they are already falling apart.

For 2 days I have been trying online to order a pair of men's Alpine Sneakers which are being advertised on sale at $71.95. (07-6 & 7-2021) I select color and size and go to check out.....basket shows my order at product list price of $90 plus tax.....then website freezes up. Same frustration no matter what I try. This is not my first problem trying to buy/exchange/return Merrell products. I believe I am wearing my last Merrell purchase. Tried to chat.....several times link not functioning....Finally hooked up. Told to call in by phone and start all over to place my order. David Bagnard

I called the Merrell phone number and found out that we CANNOT exchange the shoes that my wife ordered unless we go with the same model. She didn't feel that that model would work for her and wanted to order a different model. Shipping was free coming to us but not free sending it back unless she wanted the same model in a different size. We WON'T be ordering from Merrell.com again. We can get free shipping from other vendors both ways. On top of that your phone representative was not friendly at all!

Now on my second pair of Merrell walking boots, which I use only for walking the dog around our neighborhood a few miles a week, and the occasional hike. Just like the last ones, after not even two years these are coming away at the seams on both feet. Two years might seem like plenty of time, but these are not cheap boots. I will be staying away from this brand in future.
