Have a pair of mens Merrell - contintinumm, polartec/waterproof hiking boots. Used them once this winter on a short five mile hike. The front toe area of the boots cracked in several places, exposing the white insulation. Very disappointed and don’t recommend.

Crap customer service, defective low quality product : not the company they used to be. Merrell refused to honor the purchase price of my defective boots. They were the 2nd pair of such boots I had ever bought as I was so happy with the 1st pair. I live in central Canada where temperatures reach -40゚C and was very happy with how my $230 boots performed so bought a second pair. They ended up being defective coming apart all across the bottom seam within one season of purchase. Merrell agreed to honor my claim by allowing me to choose a new product. I waited until the fall of that year for their winter boot line. As they did not have any styles to my liking, I chose a different product that had a much lower retail value, and asked them to make up the price difference by also sending me a second item of the approximate price difference value , to which they refused. They said it was a product for product exchange . I replied that I am not in the habit of donating my hard earned money to multi million dollar corporations, and they have now lost what was once a loyal customer. On a side note I had given away my original boots to a family of modest means in Mongolia whom I happen to visit one winter.

Ok, without doubt the worst customer service ever! do not order. ok so I ordered and 3 weeks later I dont not have my trainers! I have phoned their so called customer service number 3 times each time I speak with moron in the Philippines who cant even put me through to a manager. I will never get my trainers or my money back so I have been forced to do a charge back. Guys the worst customer service ever! I will never buy from them again!!!

Merrell hiking boots. I have now bought 2 pairs and neither pair was waterproof even though they are advertised as waterproof. They are rubbish.

I've been a Merrell customer for many years but no longer, the quality of products is no longer what it was, I recently bough a pair of Accentor boots and on the third time of wearing them the lace tab failed, I email Merrell immediately they asked me to send photos which I did, I've had no response since, despite a number of follow up emails, zero customer service and poor quality products, avoid.

What Happened to Merrell. 😭 I just bought four pair and will be returning all of them. I have always been a huge Merrell fan, they used to last five years. Now there are big design flaws. I asked several people who wear 8.5 to try them on and not a single person could get both boots on. The ankle was so awkward to try and get past to put the boots on. I then ordered a different design and the tongue is so narrow it seems the snow will come straight into the boot.
