I have found that Merrell shoe sizing, even within a particular model, is all over the place, i.e. no consistency. I bought a pair of jade/granite MQM 3 GTX, UK size 6.5. I quite like these shoes and wanted to buy a second pair in a different colour. The charcoal/orchid ones that I bought, again size 6.5, are considerably smaller and unwearable. What's going on?? Size 7 in the same model is at least 1cm longer! Honestly, 1cm between half sizes?! I have had a similar problem with Merrell Moab FST2 shoes, where I buy a pair that fits but when I get a backup pair (supposedly the same size), they are much smaller. I am seriously not impressed!

NON COMPRATE NON COMPRATE NON COMPRATE. anch'io ci sono cascato, visionate e comprate un paio di scarpe da 90€, arrivato il pacco dopo 40 giorni, già dalle dimensioni ho capito che era UN PACCO nel vero senso della parola, apro, occhiali da sole venduti sulle bancarelle delle sagre paesane, avevo già intuito che vi era qualcosa di strano quando ho iniziato a chiedere tempi della consegna e loro rispondevano in inglese, fatto sta che dopo vari contatti mi propongono un rimborso al 40%. accetto e dopo 20 giorni non ho visto ancora traccia del rimborso. non riesco a capire come siti del genere non si possono oscurare visto che è una vera e propria truffa.

I've been buying the same shoe for almost 20 years. I liked them and they fit me well. So much so that I would buy a pair and store them for when the pair I was wearing wore out. So when I opened up the pair I had stored I noticed that the left heel had a hard piece that protrudes through the interior fabric making it quite uncomfortable to walk in. When I contacted Merrell they said that since I had bought the shoes about 14 months ago they would not warranty them even though I hadn't wore them in those 14 months and even though it is clear these are a manufacturer defect. Merrell offered me a 20 percent discount which amounts to nothing for making up for their error. The shoes I have are unwearable and I now have serious doubts about Merrell as a company and can not recommend them to anyone. It seems they are another corporates sellout of what was once a well run and consumer oriented company.

I bought my MOAB shoes last August as my wife had used Merrel and found them to be very solid and comfortable. But after only limited use and the first time out in constant light rain they leaked. I shall go back to my trusted SCARPA Cyrus as have had two pairs over several years and never let me down

I placed an order at the online store last night but changed my mind about the shoe size because I wasn't sure if I should go a half size up or not. I called customer service to change it. They said they can't change or cancel the order and that I can only return them once I receive them. Never experienced anything like this. What a waste of time. I have to wait a week for them to arrive only to send them back. They're wasting their money sending it to me and I'm wasting my money sending it back. Ridiculous.

Two and half month old rogue thermo boots bought from sports shoes.com falling apart. Lacing loops burst off and sole splitting away from boot already. Advise avoid this company as way overpriced rubbish.

Damn I had a pair of Merrel hiking shoes that I wore to death and almost right through the soles. Bought exactly the same pair and in a very short time the sole disconnected at the toe. With almost no use but after about 6 months. Haha they told me to buy some shoe glue which I did and repaired them. But in the meantime I’d bought an additional but slightly different pair as well. These came completely apart at the toe after two months of little use and the retailer gave me a credit for a new pair. So I replaced those with a different pair again. And what do you know. The bloody things have come away at the toe but the material is torn so very soon they’ll be a hole there. Merrill have completely lost the plot and is basically committing fraud by continuing to sell their products
