MerrellReviews of merrell.com

Ordered 2 pairs of winter boots from the website and the mens pair seemed used as the sole had wear marks. And the womens pair the lase was broken on one of the boots. Very dissatisfied with the quality. Returning everything.

I had a great experience with Merrell in the Denver outlet. The worker was very well-versed with their products and answered all my questions earnestly. They even took the time to help me find the right size for me which was suitable for hiking.

I called customer service to find out about the waterproofing on my new merrell hiking shoes. The rep was clearly typing in my question and giving me a rote answer. No mater how many ways I asked a question, she kept giving me the same answer and talked over me almost the whole time.

If you ever buy anything prepare to have your email, your Facebook feed, your text message, your mailbox completely blown up daily with marketing coupons that do absolutely nothing. I swore I’d never try to buy another Merrell shoe the last time I got a text saying “use this coupon code for % off” but they got me again with a postcard in my mailbox. Went to use the code and the website said “discount applied.” It was supposed to be 30% off PLUS an extra 10% for Friendsgiving. The $98 shoes were going to be $105 at checkout including my already free shipping. Every time I get a code it’s for shoes that are not in stock, does nothing, doesn’t apply, or in this case, makes the shoes more expensive. Tired of getting trolled by Merrell.

Bought a pair of boots that made my achilles swell and was extremely painful. Nothing wrong with the boots just not suited to me. Reached out to Merrell and they very quickly replaced them with a shoe of my choice. Could not ask for more. Excellent customer service.

Ordered 3 pairs of shoes all arrived however come to find out 2 pairs of them were a medium width 1 was a wide width like I needed they would not exchange or return the 2 medium pairs. Cannot Wear the shoes at all they hurt my feet...Extremely bad! What a big waste of money. I do not recommend this company. Buyer Beware!!!

Bought Merrell Accentor Sport Gore-tex shoes 12 months ago and within a month or so the material inside one of the heels started to come away slightly. This didn’t affect the look or performance of the shoe but not what you expect for £125 shoe. What did affect the performance was after 12 months of standard use the left shoe is no longer waterproof and just walking through wet grass leaves my left foot wet. Not worth the money.

****REFER TO UPDATE AT BOTTOM**** Bought a pair of Wrapt Waterproof Mid Barefoot hiking boots and they were great for the first 2 months. I noticed when getting ready to go on an intense hike that the bottom rubber of the shoe had started peeling away from the upper. So now the water proofing is compromised because there’s a giant hole near my toe. I’ve never had a pair of rugged hiking boots do this and I’m shocked with Merrel. I’m just shy of the 60 day guarantee so there is no helping me and the best part is… I attempted to write a review on their website but that appears to be “outside of the time frame”. So if I buy a pair of shoes or gear from the company and once the 60 days goes by and the shoes or gear begin falling apart the company protects themselves from a negative review, which is rather convenient and explains a lot of their products having 4 to 5 stars when they can’t even hold up for longer than 2 months. Also the bottom grip on one of the shoes has been almost ripped off from walking in easy trails… not sure why because the other boot is still fairly decent. Regardless a hiking boot should last at a min of 500 miles, which there isn’t even a chance I did that in the last 60 days in these since I interchange them with other boot/shoe options depending on the trail I hike/walk. ****UPDATE**** Reached out to the company and they graciously sent me a coupon code to replace my pair of boots no questions asked. I was worried after reading reviews about the companies support but after having an issue myself and reporting it to the company I am very happy with Merrells support! I loved the Wrapt boots until they separated as mentioned above. Maybe I received a one off that this issue so happened to occur to. Regardless I will try the new pair they sent me and hopefully I will have better luck since Merrell does make a great product so I’m shocked the first one didn’t hold up as expected. All in all I changed this review from a 1 star to a 4 because of how great my experience is with their customer support. Thank you, Merrell!
