You drag oit the approval process too slowly. Then when you approve repair its not a full fix. Consequently i was forced to tow car back to dealership 4 days later to get thr second solenpod replaced. Both should have been done on first visit.

The process was long and stressful with zero communication. I was without my car for 13 days. I called on day 2 to make sure they had everything from the repair shop and was told they were just waiting for me to send my service records for the past 12 months. No one called or told me and I only found out because I called and asked questions. Next I was told someone would have to come and inspect my vehicle at the shop. Each day I called and was always told I’d get a call back. No one has ever called me back. My repairs were over $9000 but only about $6000 was covered. I asked for a list to show what is covered vs what is not covered compared to the estimate submitted by the shop. I was emailed a list of part numbers and only for the parts covered. I wanted to be able to compare and see if anything could be postponed. No one responded to my email request or returned my phone call again. My car was done on Friday but they wouldn’t release it to me because payment wasn’t made yet. I called this morning and was told there was a problem with the credit card and they wouldn’t release figure it out and call the shop and pay. So I was without my only car for 13 days for a job that took 3 days. The other time I had to call about my policy was when my key fob broke. I was told it wasn’t covered. When I got the policy, I was a customer of Endurance. My salesperson convinced me to cancel with Endurance and get my current policy instead. She went over all the things that made this policy superior-key fob replacement was one of them. It was disappointing to find out it was not true. I was told how easy the claims process would be. Take the car anywhere I want-the shop sends the bill and they pay directly. Well no one said for me to send records. Then there was an inspector needed to go to the shop. The most frustrating thing however was never getting a call back. Agents told me “I just sent him a message and he’s on the phone and will call you back within the hour”. I called almost daily because I was trying to figure out if I needed to rent a car. No one called me back still to this day. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because I have my car back and a lot was covered. I do think the sales person mislead me and frankly there’s no excuse for not returning a single call in 13 days. The repair shop did say a lot of warranty companies are more difficult to work with so I was relieved it was a better experience for them.

Vehicle was at dealership.. They were charging $546.00 per hour. Service manager suggested I remove my vehicle from the dealership and bring it someplace reasonable..Did as suggested.. My mechanic did the job at one quarter of the.. Dealership had it for 11 days.. My mechanic did it in three days. Did I mention the repair was 1/4 of the price.. Thanks Merit..

Merit really tried to work with me by getting me the best service that met my concerns. I wish they covered more. But, at least it was something.

This place is a scam. I will be canceling my policy. It was a complete waste of money.

I was without my car for more than 7 days because I was a new customer with Merit Administration. The delay was not my fault; it was yours. The job took about 9 calendar days, when it should have taken no more than 2. Not happy.

Worst warranty company denied my claim even sending in complete service history and now having to pay out of pocket even though I paid over $3,000 for this extended warranty, this company is a fraud.

The company covers several of the things I needed replaced, but it takes up to 24 hours to get a reply as to if the items will be covered. I am without a vehicle until my vehicle is repaired.
