Hi, I am so sorry to hear about your concern! I completely understand why seeing the litter hard as a rock would be disappointing. However, you might not have opened the packaging yet. Our cat litter is vacuum-sealed to maintain freshness, which makes it feel very hard and solid before opening. Once you open the bag and air gets in, it will become loose and fluffy again! Regarding the date, I think you might have misread it. The expiration date is actually 2028/05/21 (not 2026). As you may have noticed, the production date is 2026/05/22, so the expiration date could not possibly be earlier than the production date!
