Don't trust these guys at all. They will give you a quote and magically it'll be wrong and say you need more and price will be near double. They will do this after it's close enough to the date where you will not get your deposit back. Apparently this is common of them and screwing over military members is wild. Going through necessary channels getting these guys blacklisted from being used by any active duty as we speak .

“Fake” reviews doesn’t surprise me at all! Be prepared for high pressure + “bait and switch”…you’ll pay FAR more than quoted and take much longer. They are a broker, not a mover, and they will tell you anything to take your money as a deposit you will never see again. Then they’ll call you to “update” the quote, and take more money you’ll never see again. Their contractors (at least the one we got) require payment from Zelle on both pickup and delivery (essentially cash)…that should tell you what you need to know: no recourse. RUN from these people! Dishonest does not even begin to cover it!

Took my reservation in May. I didn't have a confirmed destination (just a town) at the time. They said that's ok. Contacted them multiple times to update the specific address and ask questions about the move and got no responses. Found a support email buried in the original quote. (Never got a copy of the signed contract). The support team called me back and said they had received no emails from me and I was informed that I had passed the 48 hour cancelation window to receive a refund. Sent them copies of the email communications. Received a call from a supervisor. They admitted they screwed up. I asked who the mover was they were contracting with. They gave me a name and said they would send the link to the company. Never received it. Looked up the company myself and the address was a small mailbox and Fedex agent business about the typical size for one of those places. No lot with trucks. In fact one of their pictures showed folks loading a Budget Rental truck. The company obviously fell down on the job and admitted it but stuck to their 48 hour no refund policy. RUN FOREST RUN.

I have the same experience as everyone else here. I am upset that I trusted this “company “ Please do yourself a favor and avoid them at ALL COSTS! They are a broker, you don’t know who is showing at your house. the deposit will never be used towards your balance and that is money lost Wished i knew sooner

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE JUST BROKERS NOT A MOVING COMPANY AT ALL! No stars from this family. The Movers picked up our home goods 05/24/26 and today is 06/13/26 breach of the contracted Bill of Lading that said we would have our property delivered in 4-10 business days, oh and since no one has updated us we don't even know where our things are or if they've been stolen, lock, stock and barrel! They seriously over-charged for the move. We were allotted 550 cubic feet, charged us for 4 large boxes at $10 each which we NEVER even received and the MOVERS they brokered knew NOTHING about it. Charged us for an extra 150 cubic feet and when we measured things up they were NO WHERE near 700 cubic feet!

had a move scheduled from Virginia to Georgia. This move has been scheduled since the beginning of April 2026 and I have followed up a few times regarding move details and confirmation. We received a call on Saturday confirming that movers would be arriving between 4 and 6 PM on Sunday, May 24th. The subcontracted moving team, Good View, showed up around 7 PM on Sunday, May 24th and immediately grabbed two mattresses and attempted to move other furniture, previous to notifying my husband that they would be requesting more money on top of the contracted price. Once they had a few of our belongings in the truck, they started to attempt to renegotiate the contract and threatened to hold our furniture hostage without confirming a delivery date to our new address. We had our copy of the signed and paid contract from Menards on hand and the subcontracted company confirmed that they would not be following that contract. The movers began to survey the apartment and my husband as to indicate that they were looking for the cash required by the contract in order to pay for their services while the main mover screamed and yelled at my husband and myself that we had to pay them $5000 more than necessary. After immediate confusion and refusal, they then lowered it to $3000 on top of the contracted $2700. Knowing that moving scams are common, I requested that the new quote needed to be written on business letterhead (provided below). The mover stupidly handed that over to my husband so my husband could document. Due to Good View's aggressive, loud and threatening behavior, my husband felt the need to arm himself, lock the cash that was meant to pay them for their services in our apartment mailbox room, and notify our family to stay away from the apartment due to safety concerns. When we had asked when our furniture would be delivered if we were to pay the $3000 more, he would not confirm that we would ever get our furniture or when it would ever be delivered. My husband also saw and asked about the furniture that belonged to someone else that was already in the 26 foot moving truck that seemed to have not been touched in a long time. Due to the context clues and the movers getting aggressive about answering those questions, we believed that they were holding furniture hostage similar to what they were threatening to do with our belongings. Due to their loudly aggressive behavior, my husband felt the need to escort them outside in order to continue discussing the proposed payment increase and contract inconsistencies. Once they were outside, My husband told them to get our belongings out of the truck and to leave the property. The movers refused and said that they would instead call their management to explain why we needed to pay them more money. My husband then had to threaten to call the cops in order for them to take our belongings out of the truck. After the comment about the cops was made, they took the furniture out of the truck and left angrily. They proceeded to call my cell phone multiple times in an effort to harass and intimidate me (provided below). I answered the first call not knowing it was them and was screamed at until I felt scared and hung up. They then proceeded to call me back repeatedly from different phone numbers in an effort to harass me. Since they kept calling, screaming, and had access to our home addresses, we didn't feel comfortable or safe staying in our home the next two nights, so we got a hotel Sunday and slept in our cars Monday night.

I'd leave zero stars if I could. I tend to be careful about using the word scam, but this company's success depends almost entirely on dishonesty and predatory, bait-and-switch tactics. They earn your business by misrepresenting what services they can and will provide, and by the time the truth comes to light, the customer has very little recourse. Menards presents itself as a large, capable company that will oversee your move with care. In reality, their entire business model consists of securing a contract with you, then upping the cost when you have no time to make any other arrangements. Once they've tricked you into a fee that maximizes their percentage, they're gone and you're in the hands of whatever random transport company they've passed you on to without any way for you to evaluate the people that will actually be moving your stuff. When researching moving companies for a May 30, 2026 move, I was contacted by Ryan of Menards Moving and Storage on April 10. I submitted a thorough inventory of my items, and he offered a quote. He "made me a deal" because he claimed there was already a truck going to NC (where I was moving) that week, and they had some space to fill. I would later find out that this was a lie, as Ryan is a broker and has nothing to do with scheduling trucks, and no one knew what truck my items would be on until a day before the move. Ryan told me that 3-5 days before my move, a "Quality Assurance Agent" would contact me to review the inventory and note any changes. As of May 27, I had not call from the company and reached out to Ryan. He assured me the move was set and the call was impending, and 2.5 days before my move date, I was contacted by Daniel while I was at work. When I called him back, he chided me for not being ready for the "scheduled call" and then proceeded to tell me that my inventory list (which had not changed since my original estimate) indicated I needed way more space than what I'd been quoted. I pushed back, pointing out that two days before my move was poor and suspect timing to tell me the cost would actually be double my written quote. After some back and forth, Daniel grew frustrated with me and said he'd just leave the quote as-is and if the movers had to "leave half my stuff" at the pickup location, that's what would happen. After we hung up, I called the office to speak with customer service and asked for another agent to contact me, which never happened. Avoid this company.
