I've been with Melaleuca for a while now and I have read some of these reviews and some make me laugh, as they are so off it's not funny. Melaleuca is a very ethical company and the products are AMAZING!! The cleaning products are off the charts as to how well they work, the prices are better than Costco! The nutritional products such as the Peak Performance Packs (vitamins) really truly make a difference in your health on so many levels with clinical studys to back them up. The company is not only Eco Friendly, Botanical, Bioderadable but their products are also based on Science. As for the beauty products (I've been a professional makeup artist for 33yrs so know my stuff) they are wonderful, the pigment in the eyeshadows, blushes is crazy good! Now as for the reviews I read about the cancellation policy, its actually super easy, and takes no time at all, the reason you need to tell them why you want to cancel is because they need feedback to try and make things even better, that's with any good company.. And if someone got an order they didn't want .. it's called the backup order that comes automatically ONLY if you forget to put in your monthly order (this is in order to keep your membership benefits such as the 30-50% off of all the products, you do not just get the back up order if you are doing your normaly monthly orders as a preferred member and if you cancelled correctly you would never have gotten the back up order, so not Melaleuca's fault it would be the person who sign you up if they did not explain the membership back up order properly. There is no other company that can compare to Melaleucas, Products, Prices and ethics on any level so be careful of the crap you read as i'm sure a few reviews are done by the competetors who have nothing better than to put down a company that has a 35yr track record, who is a financially sound company (not in debt like most companies out there) and most of their products are patented (proprietary to them).. there is no gimmicks to this company and it's not an MLM as some have said, they are 100% based on customer referrals. I'd like to know another company out there like Melaleuca who have an over 90% customer retention rate!! So Great Company, Great Products, Great Ethics from someone who knows the facts:)

If you want to loose your money well, this is the site/company to do so. They love to catch people that don't understand well the language and then don't allow them to leave their subscription. My mom changed her mind about this company and requested for the package to not be sent. They sent it anyways and she had to pay full price the return shipping. I don't understand why these Pyramid companies continue to exist. They should be banned from our society. If I could give 0 starts I would do.

I have purchased Melaleuca products monthly for years. They have very good cleaning items, but for some reason decided to get into food items. After buying a delicious trail bar I wrote my first review on their website because the tinfoil wrapper leaves many shards of foil stuck to the food. They never posted my review, and when I called to inquire they said they already know about the wrapper issue. If you look around the website, there seems to be a pattern of posting only glowing reviews only, or tiny snippets from them in quotes. Here is my review: Delicious, But Do Not Buy: The Almond & Cranberry Trail Bars taste great. However the wrapper sticks mightily to the bar, leaving behind small or long strands of tin foil that can be difficult to spot on the multi-colored food item, rendering it unsuitable for children, or for anyone to eat while driving, or in a low light situation such as a dark car.

I loved most of the products, especially the cleaning product and hand cream. but it was incredibly difficult to cancel the services. And some products, like the Ancient Grains crackers, are not what they profess to be. There are fewer "ancient grains" than salt! The Multi-vitamins gave me heartburn... but that won't necessarily be the case for everyone. What did irritate me was being told by the rep that my "system" was not functioning correctly and I should give it more time. I don't get sick and 3 months of indigestion was enough. I have no problems now.

I was a customer of Melaleuca for a short time period after signing up during a special promotional period. The quality of the products were okay, but I felt they were subpar to those I had ordered from doTERRA. I decided to not place any additional orders and to cancel my membership. I later received a package in the mail that had been charged to my card. I was also charged shipping and handling both ways. In short, it seems the company was more concerned with making money in every way it could, more than delivering a superior product or customer service.

I used melaleuca products for many months and was satisfied. However I have an issue with their cancellation policy. When I signed up, my sales agent told me that cancelling was easy. She said all I had to do was write an email or call customer service. This is not true. After I contacted customer service to cancel my account I was told I had to send a letter in writing to an address and explain why I wanted to cancel. For one thing, I don’t like being lied to and for another- if I want to cancel, just let me cancel! Don’t make me jump through hoops just so you can squeak out a few more bucks out of me. That’s dishonest business and I’m really angry about that.

I am very satisfied with the products so far. I am extremely satisfied with the tough & Tender. It works on anything. The smells, quality, and pricing are all excellent. 😊
