I signed up for a membership for a year to "try" it out. This is a very shady company. Where does one begin? They test their products on animals :( (I didn't find out till after I cancelled my membership) I tried many different products, nothing at all special about them, most are subpar. They are no better or safer than store products. They contain harmful chemicals etc... just like many others. Most of the products I tried I actually didn't like them. I only liked one of the laundry detergents, but even then 90% of the scent disappeared when they went into the dryer, most of the scents of products disappeared quickly and or they didn't smell good. The products did not clean any better than a store brand. The products I find are very expensive compared to store brands. The little bit of food they do offer was terrible, very overpriced and small portions. You are "forced" to buy every month whether you need to or not. (I ended up having too much product and was "giving" it away) On top of the overpriced products you also have to pay all the shipping costs to have it delivered. You also have to pay shipping costs if you want or need to ship something back. You also have to pay "extra" for things like the pump for the hand soap and detergent, or spout/sprayer for the fabric softener or cleaners. It is ridiculous!!! It became very expensive very quickly for subpar products. They do NOT give samples of the products to try first at all. Dealing with the "middle" man or sponsor is a joke, they just want to make the money. It was difficult to cancel. So overall a very bad and expensive experience I hope many will avoid and stay away from this overrated company. I think the only "good" reviews are from the sponsors, the middle man who make the money for selling the products.

Products are good but they make it impossible to cancel. This is my third month to call and go thru their cancellation process. I hope it sticks this time.

The very definition of greenwashing!!!! Go do your research!

I signed up a year ago for the Melaleuca service and have had no problems with the products or customer service. In fact, their customer service is beyond good. I decided to cancel my membership in March simply because we had a surplus of products and won't need any for a while. Many of the reviews I read here state that it is a membership and you have to order enough products to tally a 35 point order or the company sends you a back up order that you put together when you first join. That much is true. However, you can also order without the membership and without a requirement to accumulate a certain number of points. Do the products cost a bit more without the membership? Yes, they do but I have a couple of supplements that I really like and will continue to order them and pay a bit more to get them because I have had good results. It is stressful trying to watch your budget and still meet the required points but just shopping without the membership works just fine. I just wanted to clear up the misconception about having to be a member to order. You do not.

I am very happy so far with the products, I can wipe my counter down and not have to worry about chemicals that could get on our food somehow, you could lick the counter and it wouldn't harm you. The cleaning products are phenomenal, I had a stain on the wood part of my kitchen island that would not come off no matter what I tried, I used the stain remover Sol- U-Mel and poof its gone. The Splash H20 is a delicious healthy alternative to plain water. I could go on, and on. All the information is provided to everyone before signing up so it is not the companies fault if people don't read and research about it first. The bad reviews are sour grapes. Melaluca is a U.S.A Company with American made products by people who love their country. There are certain factions out there that will go on the attack and try to shut you down if they don't like your views. Take it for what it is more fake news.

I have been a member for over a decade and have had several reasons to call customer service. Their customer service is wonderful. Those people who gave one star because of bad customer service cannot be talking about Melaleuca. Their products are great! My house now has only Melaleuca in it. I have a lot of allergies and some lung issues, so it is nice to have products like Melaleuca that do not cause problems. I do not have a dishwasher, so hand wash my dishes. Lemon Brite is amazing! They even have a product that will remove permanent marker, Sol-U-Mel, that is my go to for many other things. Read the product labels and you will be amazed. As far as the monthly order goes, I am on a fixed income but Melaleuca helps me stay within my budget. I like that cleaning products are concentrated so that you get much more than it looks.

I cancelled my membership within a week after signing up in January 2022. I did not like the product. I had to pay $10 to return which was fine I guess. Just 2 months later in March the company charged me for product I didn't order and now they want me to pay $10 to ship it back when I was told my account was cancelled. They refuse to honor the shipping at no cost to me and I'm out of $71.75 because of this error.
