We were first turned on to Maev by my brother and sister-in-law who's older dogs had switched to Maev and I was able to see them look about 4 years younger within a matter of 4 months. Then we brought home our 7-week-old Australian Shepherd puppy. The breeder told us to put him on science diet puppy, since they had been feeding the puppies and the mother that food, and the puppies had been eating it exclusively for about the last 2 weeks. That week I noticed excessive chewing of his his joints. Almost obsessive compulsive. Then I noticed he seemed bloated and firm in the belly area to the point where he looked like he had a fat beer belly. Next, I saw him struggling to go to the bathroom. All of this was within the first week of him being home. That's when my wife and I decided to try Maev. The food didn't arrive until the end of his second week being at home. By then we could tell how bad these conditions had gotten for our puppy. We first started feeding Maev completely frozen to help him with soothing his puppy teeth. And he loved it! So did We! All of the sudden, his bloated belly went away, and he had a nice trim cut to himself. He was able to go to the bathroom like a normal dog should, and his chewing of himself completely went away 100%! If that wasn't enough, all the sudden his breath never smelt bad ever again! He has classic puppy breath! So clean smelling! Axel is now 4 months old and is trim, healthy, never chews himself, has a ton of energy, his breath always smells good, and he has no problems going to the bathroom nice and easy. It's unbelievable I know. But we have seen the turn around in 3 dogs now and it's obvious this is the only way your dog should eat. The ordering is simple, the shipping is very fast, and we have not had any. We'd for customer service yet so I can say how that is. But the box of frozen food shows up and goes straight into our freezer. Now we microwave it to thaw it and serve. Everyone in a while we throw in sardines or an egg for different proteins and nutrients that will help him. But just Maev alone is the best thing we could have done for our puppy Thank you Maev team.

I recently joined Maev after much research and also having tried other raw food diets. I'm so glad that I found them. There are several things that I like about it. Most importantly is that my dog loves it and it's so healthy!!! I like that unlike many of the other brands that come ground, with Maev you can see what your dog is eating and how fresh it is. I really like that I can see the pieces of actual meat, as well as, the vegetables. We also got the bone broth, which is a great healthy additive. The packaging great. Easy to store, use and reseal after each meal. I also enjoy the convenience of the subscription so that I don't have to remember to go shopping if they run out. The customer account on the website has a few hickups, but the customer assistance makes up for it. Their team is very friendly and patient and you get the sense that they want to assist and that they love their company. I highly recommend Maev.

I’ve been looking for a raw chicken food for my giant breed puppy that is convenient. I have to say, this product did not disappoint. - You pour it straight out of the bag (instead of having to thaw) - The nutrient profile is perfect for big growing puppies - My dog obviously liked the taste, looking all around the bowl for anything he missed Definitely going to by buying again…

The customer service in Maev is brilliant! I have nothing but good things to say in regards to the attention and quality and over l experience I have had with them. I have noticed a huge difference in my dog and cant wait for what the future has in store! Definitely recommend!!!

They have always been quick to message me back about concerns or any questions I've had. Recently I reached out about trying to use some of my points on my account and they were quick to understand my request and got my order shipped out to me quickly.

We love Maev! Maev is very affordable compared to other raw brands especially now that they have a rewards program! My 3-year-old Alaskan malamute, Timberland, is a food lover so it was important that we make sure he is eating proper amounts of nutritious healthy food. Timber is a big boy, so we order 50lbs of food a month. His weight is healthy, and he is very athletic. His teeth have no tartar, and we don’t brush his teeth regularly. His breath does not stink (at least not as bad as dogs who eat kibble). His fur is healthy and shiny. He poops once or twice a day (solid and healthy poops). Oh, and just in case anyone is wondering, his consumption of raw meat does not increase his prey drive. We also have two free range rabbits who literally cuddle with Timber. He does not ever try to harm them. We assume this is because they grew up together and he sees them as part of his pack, but still. Only downside to Maev is all the plastic food bags and plastic shipping bags. I would love to see them develop a return recycling program for all the plastic bags. Or make them certified home compostable? It just always feels like a TON of plastic waste is going to the land fill from Maev dog food.

Maev has been an easier way to do raw for our Shih Tzu! She loves the hip & joint formula and will literally finish her bowl of food and then wait at the bowl hoping for seconds! We use a small food chopper/processor to reduce the chunk size for her little mouth, otherwise no other changes needed.
