The SG24 stump grinder performed better than I expected. Customer service was great and the shipping time was amazing.

My husband bought 2 pieces of equipment, a milling machine and a lathe from MechMaxx and they are both JUNK!!! He had to work on the milling machine before it would even work. The lathe is even worse, he has had it for 1 month and the gears broke. He had another lathe for 10 years and never had a problem. We should have bought from the other company. Lesson learned. Even worse is the customer service, he has 10 emails and 4 phone calls and they just keep saying they are working on it. One guy said yes we have shipped the parts but refused to give a tracking number... We have not received anything. DO NOT BUY FROM MECHMAXX their stuff is junk and their customer service is horrible. Please do not waste your money.

I was going to order a lathe from MechMaxx today, HOWEVER after reading the 33% negative reviews I'm going to look elsewhere for a lathe.

The customer service so far has been great, the delivery service was awesome he called and told me his other routes close to me and we were able to meet at a better spot for both of us close to one his other deliveries. The mill feels built really well, I’m a mechanic and operator by trade so I break things occasionally lol So far I’m happy as can be with the money I’ve spent and the service I’ve received, will definitely be doing more business with MechMaxx in the future 👍🏻 💜

poor customer service. Their automated phone system for tech support lets you stay on hold for 30 minutes, then dumps you to voicemail. You should know that this is rather upsetting, especially when I was at the 2nd in the queue. Never did get a call back. Tried the online form for submitting a ticket; There would be 2-3 days before getting a response, then another 2-3 days between each reply. Also, I think their "delivery assurance" charge might be a scam; didn't see any difference from any other freight deliveries.

I posted a review on my experiences with a new MechMaxx Vam72 about 6 weeks ago. I have since received a single email from MechMaxx that stated how disappointed they were that I was having these problems and vowed to get involved and get to the bottom of these repeated belt problems! Like I said that was the last correspondence from anyone at MechMaxx and people still think that spending their hard earned money with a company that does absolutely nothing to support the warranty aspect of there products, well best of luck. This is actually nothing more than a 1700lb. Pile of useless scrap iron that cost me over $4000.00. What a mistake I made. Going forward my money will only be spent with honorable companies that have actual testimonials that reflect good ethics! Thanks MechMaxx for absolutely nothing. Sincerely, Darrel Stoen. Hi Darrel, we are very sorry that this issue remains unresolved, especially after our previous response indicated that we would be looking into the repeated belt problems with your VAM72. We understand your frustration and recognize that our follow up has fallen short. You should not have been left waiting for an update after we committed to reviewing the issue. We want to make this right. We are escalating your case again so the repeated belt failures can be properly reviewed and our team can work with you toward an appropriate resolution. We sincerely apologize for the continued frustration and disappointment this has caused.

This is a review on the MechMaxx D150 finish mower. Used one time for a couple of hours and it stopped mowing on the right side. Blade just free spinning. Thought belt had broke or jumped off pulley. Nope. So I thought spindle shaft was broke. Nope. After pulling spindle that’s when I realized blade was just loose on shaft. Retighten everything and re assembled. Belt tensioner is a b@*#h to adjust. Too many bolts to fiddle with. Gear box leaks around top plate or maybe breather fitting is bad. Will use again before I pass judgement on this mower!

Hi Suzy, we are sorry to hear you experienced these issues during your first use of the D150. A loose blade and the potential gearbox leak are certainly concerns we take seriously. We appreciate you sharing the details of your experience and giving the mower another opportunity before making your final judgment. If you continue to experience any issues, please reach out to our team so we can help get them properly addressed. Thank you for choosing MechMaxx, and we hope your next use goes much more smoothly.
