Oxytocin
So, after being on Oxytocin for almost 2 months now, with a week off just to see if I notice a difference. I can say I definitely do notice a big difference. At first I applied it at night for the first week, didn’t really notice much but it’s when I applied it in the morning/mid day before work where I noticed an improvement in overall mood. I actually engage in conversation and have genuine interest in what people have to say, Whereas before I wouldn’t want to talk to anybody and I would keep conversations as short as possible so I can move on. I also notice I don’t stress or get as mad about things when they don’t go my way, like say if I’m running late, traffic, mishap at work. I just brush it off. Where as before it would definitely upset me or it would ruin the start of my work shift. Now with oxytocin it’s just something that happens and I don’t worry as much about it. Heart rate also feels like it has gone down as well, I just know it’s a lot lower because I feel it. At first I thought this must be placebo, but after taking a week off, that’s when I knew I wasn’t feeling as good as when I was taking it. So I would definitely recommend.
